1st multi-point check
Everything went well from check-in to check-out of car service. I loved the video of the underside of my car when rotating the tires. Being texted when done was nice as well. I didn't have to wait too long either.

Boy, am I HAPPY
I took my wife's car in for a brake job. As part of their inspection of her car, Vancouver Toyota noticed that there was a malfunction with the door locks. The right rear passenger door sensor was loose or broken and as a result, the readout on the dashboard showed that the door was open, even though it wasn't. It had been that way for quite some time. Vancouver Toyota provided me with an estimate of the cost to fix it.

Since it had been broken for a long time and I was used to it, I declined to have it fixed. It just didn't seem to me to be worth it. OK, fine.

But when I went to pick it up and drove away, I noticed that the dashboard light indicating the door was open was no longer on. When I got home I also noticed that another problem (one that, unbeknownst to me was related), that I couldn't use my key fob to lock the car, was also fixed.

I look at my bill and I wasn't charged for these repairs. I don't know if the Vancouver Toyota technician corrected a problem that required no parts, only an adjustment or if it was just pure serendipity. But now that nagging problem is fixed, it works fine, and it didn't cost me DIME ONE.

Inaccurate Quote
I received a quote for tires for about $1,000. As Vancouver Toyota had a coupon of buy three tires get one for a$1 I expected the cost of four tires would be $750. When I checked in I was told the $1000 quote already include the coupon. No where in the original quote mention it already included the coupon. As I didn’t have time before a trip to Central Oregon to go to another tire vendor and wanted to be safe. I emailed Noel, who quoted me, upset at his poor communication and asked for a $250 discount on the purchase. He has never responded to my email. My Camry has had every major service performed at Vancouver Toyota. I would like a $250 discount on a prepaid service plan as compensation for the poor customer service.

OK, but really 1.5 hours to change the oil?
I am getting tired of being told that I may need some servicing, especially to my brakes. After the second time of being told that I had a tire replaced at Les Schwab. I asked them to check my brakes and they said they were fine. But this last time, once again, I was told that maybe I need my brakes replaced.

Service Recommendations Not Needed
Had a service recommendation to replace wipers. My wipers are brand new and didn’t need replacement. Makes me wonder now if other services that have been recommended in past were really needed. Also the people working at service desk don’t feel helpful any more. I don’t like bringing my truck in here anymore.
