I dreaded having to go to the dealer for service, now I can’t imagine going to anyone else!
I’ve always thought that going to the dealer for service automatically meant spending hundreds more than I would with a personal mechanic. Check in was a breeze as I was able to stay in line from my car and be serviced through the window via a representative with a tablet. I was able to complete the entire process within moments and schedule to pick up later in the day. Unfortunately, there were some unforeseen circumstances that caused my estimated completion time to extend a couple of hours but the representative was very communicative. She was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful. Not only were my services more cost effective at the dealer, I didn’t have the hassle of running around to find parts and a mechanic qualified to service my vehicle. The team over there was honest and returned my vehicle in great shape. I’m very pleased with the service I received from arrival to departure and look forward to an amazing car journey with them!

Excellent Customer Service and Great Repair work
Pohanka Hyundai in Capitol Heights Md, is the best in terms of customer service and repair service around. You can go there w/o an appointment and received excellent care and service. They have a wonderful waiting room for customers with large screen tv, coffee hot cocoa area etc. Bathrooms are clean w/nice music playing thru out. Great place to take your car for maintenance servicing and repairs. I definitely recommend them.

I was extremely pleased at the service I received at The Hyundai Service desk a week ago. The agent was friendly, courteous, and responsive to my needs. The round trip shuttle service was a bonus, inasmuch my vehicle was my only transportation.

Has to wait several days, but good customer service
I didn’t have an appointment but my check engine light came on so I took my car in for service. I was told I would need to wait a week or more for a technician to work my car because there was a backlog for repairs. I had to rent a car which was an extra expense. The customer service was great and the repairs were done well, but having to leave my car and be without my car for over a week was disappointing.

Phenomenal Service
I have been a loyal customer of Pohanka Hyundai since 2016 and every time I have brought my car in for service I never been disappointed. The staff and management were extremely professional along with my service representative. The facilities were well kept and clean. Kudos to Pohanka Hyundai.

Great experience; wait time a little long
This service center is first come first serve. Definitely get there early before they open because customers will start to line up. The waiting area is comfortable. The wait time was a little long. I got there when it opened at 7:00 am and I didn’t leave until almost 10 am. Overall the customer service is excellent and professional.

My service advisor Ms. Kristen was very helpful to me. She keep me updated what’s was going with my car and it issues. Her technician did awesome job going over the car making sure it was safe and everything was properly installed or functioning properly. She explained everything in full details and even went got technician to explain apart that help me understand.

Condition of Care Upon Return
Overall, I had a positive experience with the service advisor and was pleased with the length of time it took for my car to be serviced. However, I am concerned about the condition that my car was returned to me. There where food crumbs on the floor and in the passenger front seat, as well as a ramen noodle on my back seat. Additionally, the technician left numerous scratches on the inside of my driver door on the panel, which I know where definitely not there when I arrived for service. I found a few scratches on the outside of the car as well. Also, I noticed that there was some tampering with my Hyundai packet in my trunk -- the packet had been moved from its stern position. This left me very disappointed. It is disturbing to me that a technician was actually eating in my car and that this person did not use any protective film to protect my inside driver door panel. I feel that the service technicians should treat peoples cars with the utmost respect -- as if these cars are their own.

What happened to my vehicle?!?!
I had originally went in for fuel system flush, and ended up getting that as well as transmission flush as part of the package that was offered. Well I’m not sure what happened but when the vehicle was returned to me it would not go past second gear. And NOW I need to buy a new transmission which cost $3600!!! There is no way possible I would drive a vehicle into the dealership in that condition and not let the service tech know that was the problem. I just needed the fuel system flush. Again, I don’t know what happened to my vehicle now it’s not driveable at no fault of mine. I will never bring my vehicle back to this facility ever again and I would not recommend this facility to anyone.
