Upfront honesty

I can admit I don't know much about cars and am currently in a tight financial situation. Instead of trying to get me to get everything done and shell out all of that cash ASAP, they broke down what was wrong and what was most important and what could wait.

Could be better

The service itself is not bad, but the person who was taking care of the paperwork was my main source of dissatisfaction. First, she said it would be done in 1 1/2 hour, I came back in 2 hours the papers were not done. Then, she said that she just had "to close the papers", next what I saw was that she was taking care of another customer. I was waiting and waiting until I left without papers. Consider that I was with the 10 month old infant who spent more than 2 hours sitting in the stroller! So upsetting!

Great People. Good Service.

4 stars = all for Christine. She's AMAZING. You can tell she really puts herself in the customer's shoes and treats you with patience, thorough explanations, and genuine care.

Only reason it's not a 5 star review is because when I called to schedule my appointment for the 2 recalls on my car, the guy quoted me "2 hrs tops" instead of telling me the real wait time, which was more like 4.5-5.

However, and I can't emphasize this enough, the service I received from Christine was so awesome that I didn't mind too much. I even went ahead and got an oil change and replaced some bulbs that were apparently out while I was there.

If I have to go back to McGrath for anymore recalls or maintenance, I will be sure to request Christine!
