Sean the Service manager was able to contact Hyundai and ask if my repair could be done under warranty since car has a little over 40k on the odometer and 6yrs old. I dropped it off the night before and it was fixed by 3pm as estimated.

If you all close at a certain time then don't have your customers under the impression that you can still get service up until a certain point. Let the customers know that after a certain time you stop taking vehicles for the day.

Recall Repair
My latest visit was for ECM recall and a clunking noise in the area of the dash firewall area of my Sonata. The SM said could complete the software update but had to come back to troubleshoot noise. I came back the last Friday at 0600. The tech thought it was the rubber bushing behind steering wheel area but not that wasn't it . Next was the intermediate steering shaft but that was ok. Finally zeroing in the rack and pinion unit. The car has only 40k on it but is 6yrs old and so the SM emailed Hyundai directly to see if still would be covered by warranty . I own 3 Hyundais the Sonata, Tucson and an Kona. It also was my 55th Birthday too. Hyundai took pity on me and agreed to cover the repair. Thank you Sean for your great service. Also Will is a good SM too.

Fantastic Visit
I purchased a 2018 Hyundai Sonata in November 2017. I put a lot of miles on it and now have over 62,000 miles. Pohanka is the only place that has ever been under the hood. As a matter of fact, they've performed every single recommended scheduled maintenance, on time. I've been here at least 8 times and maybe as many as 10 times over the last 18 months. With that said, after a 3 or 4 perfect visits to start, I had customer service problems over the next 2 or 3 visits. The last couple of visits remind me of when I first visit and I could not be happier.

Sean, listened to what I said and wanted, offered some options without trying to sell things I didn't need and just overall did a fantastic job. I could not be happier ask for more based on this last visit - March 2019. I think it's also important to add that with all the scheduled maintenance, I have never had, NOT EVEN ONE, problem, indicator light, nothing, go wrong with my Hyundai Sonata.

I sincerely believe that if management "gets out of their own way" and allow Sean and the other reps to do their jobs without putting pressure on them to up-sell what is not needed, Pohanka Hyundai is the best and will remain the best service department anywhere.

I love my Sonata.
