Service Fine But Future Service Shock
The only thing that was disappointing is that I was there a few weeks before to have the head lamp replaced which was not planned. When I left I asked about service that is needed for the car from the last oil change because I declined some of the service and I was informed that nothing was needed. As I am waiting for a simple oil change I was informed that the 75,000 mile service is recommended and was declined last oil change with a total of over $600 which I was not prepared for. I had to decline again and now wait until the inspection/oil change at 80,000. It is quite a shock when a customer is expecting a $50 total and then service is needed costing over $600 let alone the time it will take to complete the service which I was not prepared for. I wish I would have been told what was needed when I asked before not have it sprung on me waiting for a simple oil change.

I can understand your confusion.  When inquiring about an upcoming service, we should have provided you with a maintenance guide printout. That did not happen. I apologize for that.
We don't like giving surprises and I'm sure you don't like receiving them as well.

Engine replacement at 97,000 miles
I couldn’t say enough about Hyundai standing behind their vehicles. I bought my car in 2012, my oil light started coming on. I was low on oil, Hyundai did an oil consumption test, turns out I was burning oil, like 2 quarts low. They replaced my engine, and put me in a rental til mine was ready. I’m now at 97,000 miles with a new engine and 1 yr warranty on my new engine!
Great job Hyundai! Awesome Mechanics too!

Slowest Oil Change Ever
We had our 2020 Palisade in for it’s first oil change, and it took over 2 hours!! After an hour and forty minutes the service advisor came out and said “oh the oil change was done 40 minutes ago, we are just waiting to have your car washed” When the car finally came back it was just wet, not washed, and it was another almost 20 minutes on top the one hour and forty minutes we already had spent there. Love my car, but will more than likely be getting our car serviced elsewhere.
