99 Land Cruiser
This rig is an amazing beast. I bought it with 175k miles on it, and it is still solid as a rock. We've had one of the worst winter months on record, and this vehicle has handled all conditions admirably. It's big. It's heavy. And it doesn't get great gas mileage. But it gets you where you are going... no matter what the conditions. The creature comforts are amazing as well. I don't know how I lived without heated seats before. And the ROOM in this beast makes it possible to take as many as 8 people... all with leg & elbow room. Obviously with a 1999 model year, some of the features are a little dated... but everything still works. Power antenna, heated seats, cassette player (stock audio system sounds amazing), power seats, side-view mirror defrosters... ). I did just have an alternator go out. But (as my wife reminded me), that's the least of what we've seen go bad on other vehicles half this age.
