Futuristic!

Truly an engineering marvel and a real pleasure to drive. After three weeks I am still becoming familier with all the features this car has to offer. Moving to an EV presents some real challenges, but so far I am in love with this car!!

Car is good. Apparently you need 200 text characters to actually submit a review which is pretty annoying. My “con” would be not being able to submit a review on my own terms. Car seems good after a month

Most Fun To Drive Ever

We bought this car because we loved it after seeing it at the Auto Show. It's the nicest one we've ever owned. It has so many safety and comfort features and we are happy to help reduce our carbon footprint by driving an emissions-free vehicle. It's not perfect but pretty close.

Love it

The acceleration is second to none. 0-60 in under 5 seconds. Very smooth and quiet ride. I receive lots of compliments. Plenty of storage room and fits my 3 kids comfortably in the back. Only downside is the standard sound system. It’s not very loud and the quality is not there… wish I upgraded to the Bose package.

Almost there!

This car would be perfect if it could just fix a few of the most annoying issues: - lack of auto locking - lack of wireless CarPlay or Android auto - confusing steering wheel controls for music All of this can be fixed via over the air updates. Let’s keep our fingers crossed!

Unbelievable!

This car is absolutely the best I've had in my 50+ years of driving (and I've had BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, Mercury, Ford,...). Quality build, safe (and fun) to drive, eco-friendly, economical ($.05/mile), Quiet.

Great auto; Poor software and documentation

Everything about the physicality of the car is very well done. However, all of the manuals are very poorly translated and very unclear and confusing. The software features (Bluelink, Nav) are amateurish or just do not work

Poor mileage compared to advertised

Was expecting better mileage and a better system to find charging stations that work. Need to designate level 1, 2 or 3 in looking for charging stations. Dealers do not have the EV experience to answer questions about the Ioniq 5

So far this car is comfortable and seems secure on highways

I have only owned this car for one month, but so far it seems excellent. Especially it seems so secure on the highways after driving a Honda Fit for many years. My main complaint is that since I am a bit older figuring out all the computer works has been very confusing, and the manual has been of very little help since the illustrations don't seem to apply to and Ionique 5 2023. Al so I am a bit worried about care of the external mat finish. I didn't realize it would be so easily demaged.

for a car with so much tech, it fails in alot of basic ways

has a mobile app, but iphone wont work as a key or remote start the car (android does) doors do not lock when you walk away personal settings like- how much regen braking , which mode you are in - does not stick when you turn off the car

Yes but a few quibbles

It has a few quibbles but overall is a good product a good intruction to electric vehicles. Installing a home charger has been a chore, but that’s another story. I don’t feel like the dealer paid enough attention to that

Good vehicle

The vehicle is great looking, drives well, features are impressive. We test drove and looked at a lot of EVs and the ioniq5 was the best. The only thing that we don’t like is the occasionally hesitation while accelerating as well as a couple times it has slowed down for no reason. We will be taking the vehicle in for inspection next week.

wonderful

Love it. Still learning all the features that it provides. Fun to drive. Learning all the Charging Stations. Some are good, "Electrify America" Charging stations are unreliable. Need to hunt around for one that is not listed as unavailable. Some put out fast charging, most are very slow. Still pleased with the 2 years of free charging.

My first EV

The ioniq 5 is a great car overall. Fun to drive, adequate mileage on a charge. I would like to see that increases to 400-500 miles on a charge. Space, comfort & drivability excellent. So far I have no complaints.

Great vehicle let down by CCS and average Software

The vehicle is great overall, but you have to really be patient and diligent to deal with the CCS charging network. The navigation software in regards to planning EV charging stops is difficult to use compared to other EVs like Tesla and Rivian.

My Ioniq 5

Great little suv !!! Fast and easy and looks great too. The battery range is awesome gives about 300-320 miles to a full charge driving in the city. Needs improvement for highway about 180-200 at least mine. Overall great car

Buy this.

Nice car. Buy this. Since it can go longer than other cars per battery capacity, I saved time for charging and also money. You will find that saving charging time is an incredible benefit. Also, my dealership offers a 24-hour free fast-charging service (65 kwh), so I stop by for about 30 minutes a week to get a full charge while drinking a cup of coffee in the customer waiting area. I literally paid nothing for transportation costs since I bought this car.

Great Car, dealership is very important!!

I love the car. It functions perfectly, does everything better than expected, and appears to be a good value for the money. One thing I would warn everyone is to be careful who you buy the car from. So far my dealership has been unresponsive to any contact I have made with them in regards to installing safety recalls/updates. If I was aware of this, I would have purchased from a different dealership. The 2 years of free maintenance really doesnt matter when you can't book an appointment with the service department
