Voided my factory warranty

I brought my car in to have them replace the transmission because it's been acting up since I purchased it used 2 years ago. This would be the second time I brought it to them for the same reason, but last time they told me I could go to Nissan to have it fixed because it still was under the factory warranty. Nissan did not help me when I took it to them that time. This time with Carmine they charged me $600 to essentially void my factory warranty. They took my transmission apart to check if it needed to be replaced (charging me $600 to do so), before telling me it would be cheaper to just take it to the dealership and that I needed to have it towed to the dealership. Mind you this took over a week to be sorted out with little to no communication in between. I had to call them if I wanted any information and the information I received was confusing. I know they voided my warranty because the mechanic at the Nissan dealership told me so, claiming they probably wouldn't be able to approve a replacement transmission under the condition my car was under when it was brought in. Also stating that whoever worked on my car must not understood how the warranty worked and that they were probably just trying to get out of having to do the transmission work at all. WOULD NOT EVER RECOMMEND.

Hadiya, you requested your vehicle to be repaired under your third-party, aftermarket warranty. You were contacted within two business days with the findings on the vehicle, and you approved all troubleshooting that was needed to follow the test plan on your vehicles issue. Your third party warranty that you purchased did not cover the repair on your vehicle. We were happy to replace the transmission and let you know the work could be completed within two days. Suspension Fix

Diagnosis and fixed the next day. 2016 Tesla S - they handled it all very well and took care of all my issues after the Raleigh Tesla Service Center could not. I will use Carmines going forward for all my Tesla S needs. They know their cars and care about fixing it the right way.

Always reliable

Carmine and his staff have consistently and reliably provided the best service of any maintenance provider since I began my car ownership journey in 1968. The only comparable outstanding work I've experience was done by my brother and his son, which only happened during the FEW times when i was fortunate enough to live close enough to them to have them work on one of my vehicles when I needed service. I can count on Carmine and his staff help me keep my Nissan Rogue safe to drive into my senior years and avoid the worry of having to spend $ on an expensive replacement vehicle. milka / seeker

Great install and communication

Had them install an aftermarket suspension system on my Tesla Model Y. Communication was terrific as was the time it took to do the job (2 days). They also stayed late on a Friday as we live 1.5 hours away and got stuck in Friday afternoon traffic. Would totally recommend.

It’s so great to have a shop, that’s local, who can work on Tesla vehicles. I’m over 100k miles and with the current interests rates I plan to keep the car for another year or two, and it’s good to not have to travel to Raleigh or Charlotte for maintenance - yes Teslas needs to be maintained too! Will have my struts and shocks replaced at Carmines when they come back in stock.

Quick, Friendly, and Reliable Service

Recently needed a whole new transmission. Stuart worked for a few days with my warranty company to get the needed repairs approved (which I’m sure was A LOT of work in itself). Stuart kept me updated and informed of the process daily. Once approved my repairs were completed within 24 hours!! Car washed and looks and drives like a brand new car!
