I used to go to Huffines on the 75 but never felt so comfortable there! It seemed like it was not welcome. I had a completely different treatment at Eckert, I will certainly return!

Sound issue resolved!
After several attempts, the service department at Eckert Hyundai were able to resolve an issue with sound going out on my Tucson's infotainment system. The problem was sporadic and took back-and-forth with the dealership and Hyundai technical support to trace it to an impedance issue with one of the speakers causing the amp to shut down. At least, that was my understanding.

Shout out to Jake and Don for their persistence in resolving the issue. Thanks!

Mr. Podrasky,

  I am sorry you feel this way sir, as i explained when you where here. We have to duplicate your concern to perform a repair per our Manufactures agreement. Once duplicated there is a very specific trouble tree to follow. This is why we thought it was good timing you said you were going out of town, thus giving us the opportunity to duplicate your concerns that appeared to only happen after extended driving times. I do apologize it was not easy to duplicate the concern, this is why we provided you with alternate transportation. It was driven 503 miles over the same time period. I am sorry you feel upset with how the service went, i will be more than happy to replenish any fuel we used and wash your vehicle, just let us know when you would like to do such.

Absolutely best Hyundai Service Department. Everyone is helpful and I was 35 min driving in to service department to driving off after paying. Took care of a recall without my asking them. Easy to get to. Overall outstanding experience.

friendly staff
Typically I have a superior experience with the service department. There were hiccups this time. I was having my Sonata serviced with a recall. Repairs were made and I paid and picked-up my car. I traveled only a short distance and the check engine light came on. Back to the shop! I am not sure why or how this occurred? It was a day and half before the part was sent and replaced. The service department was ,however, very accommodating and had a rental car ready for me.

Great Customer Service
I love closer to the Plano location, but I only take my business to the Denton location. They are personalble people here. I get my oil changed all the time here. The people who work in that department know me by name and are kind enough to greet me and ask me how I’m doing. If there is a need for repair on my vehicle, they talk me through it and help me understand what is being fixed. They will also let you know if something doesn’t need to be fixed right away, helping you avoid a costly repair bill.

I’ve even purchased a used car from this dealership and the salesman who sold me the car still greets me.

This is the best location I’ve ever been to in DFW.

A Date with Eckert
I had a concern about a light on
my dashboard so called my local Hyundai’s service department. The person who answered the phone was very understanding and ready for me to make an appointment to drive my car to them. Upon arrival at the dealership, I was promptly met by a technician who recorded my concerns. I went inside and waited until an employee came and got me. I was treated courteously and directed to the clerk in charge of the financial part and giving me my receipt. She told
me how the problem on my car had been fixed and notified me that the techs were also able to fix two recalls on parts as well. I noticed that the “next scheduled service” update was changed on my car which is a concern. However, I plan to call the service department and ask them directly. I trust them to address my concern with total honesty.

I’ve been here a few times now and have received varying degrees of service. Sometimes they are really on top of things and communicate well, and sometimes no one tells me the car is going to be another hour. I know Eckert is capable of great service, but it can be inconsistent.

Repairs
We have an older Santa Fe (2004). We needed some significant repairs that were going to run $3,000 plus. The only card that we had available to use was an American Express card. The cashier in service explained that Eckert doesn't accept American Express. I initially told her we would work on something and get back to them. The next day the service tech called me and asked about the repairs and I told him that we were exploring options to pay for the repairs. Within a few minutes he had called back and told me the owner had said that if the only way to the repairs done, was through American Express then they would take it this one time. Now, the owner certainly didn't have to do that. However, the fact that ownership would do this verifies what I've done for a long time. Eckert takes care of it's customers better than any other dealership that I've ever dealt with.
