Great experience!!! All to often you are promised things only to be disappointed but that wasn’t the case at all. I was told the Genesis service writer would return my call he did, he told me what time the techs started and if got my car in early he’d have no problem getting me in and out. All promises kept !! Thanks much. Kudos to the Genesis service writer Sean ( I apologize if I’m wrong his card is not with me)

Timeliness of getting the required service.
The report indicated that my vehicle had been washed. If that was the case it has to be the worse washing I have ever experienced with these eyes of mine. Very Poor!

In and out fast, fixed right the first time
Had my 2016 Genesis in for service at Pohanka. Sean Tolton was my incredible service advisor. Had my car in a few months ago for its regular maintenance service. Sean recommended that I needed front tires. Felt it best to put a few more miles on them before replacement but Sean was right, I needed front tires. With Fall rains and slippery roads due to leaves falling, I went back and got my new two front Michelin tires, and alignment. I saw the alignment specs and they were in need of adjustment, so now my car is 100% and I am ready to go for winter. Thanks for taking such good care of me Sean!

Great Service Manager
I was 39wks pregnant and went in for a recall and a front door issue. After the door was fixed I noticed my compartment lights kept coming on and going off which did not happen before they worked on the door. I drove off and turned around back to the dealership only to be told by a service rep that I would have to come back because it would take a while to fix. I felt like I was being shrugged off and I did not have time for my battery to die when I was due any day. I left again to pick up my toddler from school and left a message for the service manager of which he returned and told me to come back in. Once I got there the same rep D looked annoyed when I told him I was back to get my lights fixed and started going on a rant. The service manager then came out to meet me and took care of me right away. Fixed my lights RIGHT AWAY!!!
He totally changed my attitude about Pohanka Hyundai. It's sad when you have a front man being the face of the company and treat customers a not so pleasant way. The service manager completely made up for my not so good experience.

My door handle
Service manager is really a great person and work with me every step of the way. The only complaint I have is that the repair was not completed. A screwdriver with left in my car along with the plug for my door

The place to take your car is Pohanka
The gentleman with whom I dealt was William Bishop. This gentleman not only has wonderful personality, but he is very knowledgeable about the product they service. When I spoke to him it was like speaking to the technician himself. This put me at ease when he told me what I needed to have done. Great experience!

Disappointed.
I initially took my car in because it was jerking whenever I tried to accelerate. It has been doing that since I first bought it two years ago. My car had recently had an issue of not reversing when I tried shifting the gear into reverse. I was told that my car needed transmission fluid and that no issue was found in the computers about reversing. Thinking the issue was solved, as soon as I pulled out of the Hyundai parking lot, my car was still doing the same thing. I did my own research and saw various complaints from other 2017 Hyundai Elantra Eco owners and saying that service techs were telling them the same story. As a result, I've traded the Elantra in for a 2019 Chevrolet Trax. My safety comes first and I did not feel safe in that vehicle. I honestly feel as though they dropped the ball when it comes to customer safety.

I've never been impressed by the service that I receive by a dealership until I visited Pohanka Hyundai. I always felt that the cost of all repairs and maintenance was way over priced. Dealing with Pohanka has eased that! I appreciate the team and the time they spend working with me and on my car. I refuse to go anywhere else. Everyone is professional and friendly.
