Courtney in the service department was great. She kept me posted on any new developments and did all the dirtyears work for me, like calling Hyundai and the extended warranty company.

I am extremely disappointment with Pohanka Hyundai. I have been taking my car to this dealership since having my car and trusted their advice. Approximately 3 months ago I began having trouble with the battery of my car. I would go through period of not having my car start, having to contact roadside for a jump and then taking it to the dealership to be evaluated. On at least two occasions, the tech stated that there was nothing wrong with my battery and that it was good. On the third occasion, the tech indicated that the battery issue was due to factory issue with the gear shift, of which they replaced. At that time I again inquired if there was anything wrong with the battery and if it needed to be replaced, and I was assured wholeheartedly that the battery did not need to replaced and should last.
Two weeks ago, I had to replace the battery. When I inquired as to what happened to it, I was really provided an explantation other than it "it could be for a multiple of reasons". I then had to pay for the replacement as the warranty had "just" expired. Had the battery been replaced when I began having issue three months, I would not have had to pay anything.
My car is barely two years old and I should not be having any major issues with my car nor taking it back and forth to the dealership.
I am disappointed in the service and overall quality of my car if I continue to have issues.

I took my car in for a start-up noise. I was told that my timing chain needed to be replaced. I paid over $2000 for the noise to be repaired, and there is no difference. It turns out that they diagnosed the noise as the timing chain based on a service bulletin, not based on inspection of my car. When I picked my car up, they said I may still get a little noise, but not to worry about it. Well, the noise is exactly the same as before, and I'm worried about it. The replacement of the timing chain did nothing to address the noise.

Thank you for your review. We truly appreciate the opportunity to serve you at Pohanka Hyundai. The option to do the repair with all that was needed was presented. the repairs were requested to be done ala-carte. To do the rest of the repairs, can be done at a reduced rate.
They had the perfect car for me. At an extremely reasonable price. They even worked with me when I didn't have enough for the down payments. It was a very pleasant first car buying experience.
