Love this car

I bought this SUV when it was a year old. I'd always driven sedans and was doubtful I'd like an SUV. It's been as easy to drive and as trouble free as a car can be. Regular oil changes, hoses, etc. It gets very good mileage, too.

4th Volvo we have owned. WE will buy a 5th someday, but at 6 and 10 years old our current cars are in great shape.

I bought our first Volvo (1980 Wagon) in 1984 and kept it until we had the chance to visit the Volvo factory in Sweden where we picked up our '87. We have recently updated to a XC 1997. The only problem I see when we visit our dealership for services is that we just can't justify replacing the great cars we have.

Reliability

The ratings for volvos are never good. I have had two, one for many years. No major problems with the 12 year old or newest at 4 years. I purchased the crossbars from the dealer. I did not purchase an extended survice agreement. No need.

My XC 60 Volvo is great which I would recommend to anyone in the market for a different vehicle. Comfortable and has room for traveling. Nice size backseat space, great back up camera. After market running boards ( wide step up)were available at purchase.

Amazing

Imagine riding on a cloud. This is what my new Volvo is like! The seats are amazing and so comfy. The outside looks so luxurious. I love love love my Volvo
