2000 Volvo XC70 AWD
I bought this car from a local dealer in Denver and it was a 1-owner car with a great maintenance history, or so I was led to believe! The car has 128k and was a total lemon! I purchased the car for $3,200 and one week later the check engine light came on for a bad catalytic converter, bad VVT sensor, and a bad throttle control module not covered under Volvo's recall along with the power steering pump failing to the tune of $2,700.00. The shop/dealer I purchased it from failed to fix the car after 2 visits so I took it to a highly recommended master Volvo mechanic who told me the dealer I bought it from had to know about all of the problems with the car as temporary fixed were put in place that did not last as evidenced by my series of mechanical failures on the car. I would not recommend this model to anyone with the extreme cost of repairs and poor reliability record for this model. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this model!!!
