Costly parts
I had to pay $800 plus for the auto-start and another $900 for the engine block heater. In Alaska, these come standard when you buy the vehicle. The dummy light will flood with messages when your subscription expires, by flood, every 5 minutes after you acknowledge the message. It goes though brakes every 20,000 miles vs 60,000 like my prior vehicles. The gas mileage totally sucks up dollars. I get around 16 miles an hour city and highway. I took my car to the shop and nothing was wrong with it. It you let go of the brake, your car will go 5 mph, even go up hill. I was told that is because this car is a turbo; however, I think that is where my gas mileage is going. My power steering pump leaks really bad at 45,000, just over 4 years. The leather on the door scratches and scuffs with dog nails. The car will hits its breaks suddenly if the car in front of you coasts backwards. I made a u-turn on a uturn green light; unfortunately, a person turning red on red illegally pulled in front of me. I was braking so I won't hit him but my car must of thought the vehicle was pedestrian and stalled. Since I was in the sports mode, I couldn't get my car to N to turn it on and had to wait around a minute before the car would allow me put it in Park to start. It is a zippy little car and picks up speed fast. It looks nice but I have a neck injury. The clearance is low and you have to bend your neck to get in which for me, results in pain or banging my head. I like the color and the tires that came with it are nice. I have 20" wheels as my car came loaded with every options possible. Unfortunately, in snowy conditions, there is no clearance for the snow and it traps between the wheel well and the tire. I am about to sell it at a loss.
