Still happy with Prius Persona. It works well for us
No issues so far not caused by us. Round down road good, seats comfortable, good visibility out except for that split rear window in the hatch where spoiler is. But has decent backup camera. More road noise than I expected. It can get loud on a course road surface. Suspension travel a little short. Stops good, quick direct responsive steering, but no real road feel. Gets 42 to 56 mpg around town. 47 to 52 mpg highway. Dark Cherry metallic color with dark silver alloy 5 spoke wheels look good. Dash graphics a bit out of date compared to newer cars. More room inside than it looks like from outside. Front chin a little low. Scrapes easily on drive way ramps for stores and parking curbs. Has Toyota quality and reliability. Nav factory unit has terrible interface. Prefer using nav on my cell phone. It's just flat out better in almost every way. And it does not cost a trip to dealer for updates. It's the one thing on the car where support is lousy. Rear cargo compartment holds a surprising amount of stuff. There is also some additional storage space in the spare tire well. It has 2 glove boxes in the dash. Only one USB interface port. Does not play nice with my iPhone or iPad for streaming. It likes iPod only. Cup holder space is ok, but not great. Would I by another one? Probably, but I would look at other cars in it's price range as well. Car technology and features have come a long way since 2013. The reason we came home with the Prius was my wife wanted a Toyota brand only and it was actually the best value price wise and had the best mix of features to match our car requirements. We were not looking specifically for a hybrid. It just turned out to be the best one that met the criteria we were looking for. I would like a taller and longer door opening on my next car. I miss the stretch out, hip and elbow room of the older american front split bench seat car designs. The fancy consoles on new cars and trucks eat up to much front passenger space and cramp leg, ankle and foot room.
