Eight Years of Happy
It is almost silly how much I love my car! It is the only vehicle that we have ever purchased brand new because it is very hard to find used Priuses -- or at least it was at the time. I had thought that I wanted a mazda hatchback but my husband wasn't convinced so suggested we try Toyota first. The Prius had interested me so we test drove one and I was very impressed. In fact, we test drove the Mazda right after that and I instantly headed back to Toyota to make my purchase. This car is comfortable, so roomy for a small car. I love how much room is in the back for Costco runs, travelling, even furniture purchases, and bikes. The digital speedometer was one of my favorite features from my first test drive and I still love it. As I have gotten older and more and more near-sighted, I appreciate the always easy to read numbers. The gas mileage has been wonderful, close to 50 in the summer and around 40 in the winter. We live in a hilly area or I know we would get better than that.
