1999 Jaguar XJ8 Vanden Plas

I feel comfortable driving my Jaguar and plan to keep it. There are a few dents on the bumper that I plan to have repaired in the future.The driver's seat and door pad is aged and needs to be restored.

A vehicle in a class of its own.

One of the best Jags ever built. Vehicle has a recognizable style of it's own. Long and low frame makes for great handling. Roomy cabin area, front and back. On many occasions, when pulling up to the entrance of the theater, restaurant, or other venues. Someone in the crowd will always jokingly say, " Oh my Jag is here".

My Dream Car

I LOVE my Jaguar! British racing green. Gorgeous large hood ornament. This car makes me feel wealthy when I drive her. Literally hugs the road like a cat. Low and smooth and purring like a kitty. Beautiful rich comfortable interior with lots of room for my long legs. I love everything about her except for one thing - the drink holder will not hold my coffee cup. I can deal with it because everything else is so great. I got caught in a snow storm and there was a VERY STEEP hairpin turn that other vehicles were sliding down backwards toward me. My Cat just hunkered down and dug in her claws and easily maneuvered up through the mess around the incredibly sharp turn. She then somehow climbed our LONG STEEP gravel driveway without ever losing her grip!!! She’s just the BEST!

1999 Jaguar VDP

Owned the vehicle for over 10 years/60,000 miles. Pleasure to drive. Handles well and has been reliable mechanically.
