2022 Tucson Sel Hybrid w/conv package
My vehicle was purchased new for $34,390. I did refuse to purchase a vehicle from any dealer that had opted to charge a "market adjustment". In my opinion 28-29k would have been a fair price, but the pandemic and inflation has wreaked havoc on the marketplace. To counter for the buyer, increased trade in values were a positive factor. The vehicle is very sporty looking has adequate power. It is also extremely quiet and comfortable to drive. The warranty is one of the main reasons that I choose a Hyundai. I will not purchase a new vehicle that does not have comparable 5 year warranty, so that eliminates most of the competitors, and I will trade it in 3-5 years for a new model, so long term durability is not a concern. I am overall satisfied with my choice.I am not happy so far with getting only 27 MPG, but it is too early to check accuracy. I do not like the push button transmission than can leave room for error. Shifting levers have worked fine for a long time, and are faster and less distracting to use.....leave it alone. The cloth seats ave very comfortable but look somewhat cheap and subpar. My biggest complaint is not having a spare tire, which is just unacceptable. I will be looking to purchase a compact one.
