Regret buying this vehicle

The vehicle is aesthetically nice but performance is horrible, particularly the transmission. I would nether buy this vehicle again, or recommend it for purchase. This is the only vehicle I have truly regretted buying.

Reset every time you turn it on.

Why should I have to reset certain settings every time I start my car. Such as turning off the button that cuts off the engine when your at a traffic light, or the Lane Control button. Why can’t it remember my preferences. Extremely annoying. Control panel difficult to read in daytime.

After test driving 6 comparable other mid suze SUVs I was not happt with paying 45 to 50k to replace my Ford Edge since Ford quit making them. I decided to test drive the Hyundai Santa Fe and was greatly surprised by the smoothness in the ride and the quiet power this 2.5 liter had. I was also please at how Hyundai greatly reduced outside noise. I decided to get the SEL, FWD package and keep the price under 35K. We have taken it on a few longer trips and it handles and drives great on the road and we have achieved 31MPG. We really love the light grey interior. Highly recommend.

Overall Fantastic Vehicle!

Pros: Beautiful, comfortable interior. Drives and rides great. Great screen display. Love the accuracy of the sensors all over the car. Feels very spacious. Third row folds down completely flat!! Cons: At high speeds (maybe 65 and up) on various highways, the car feels a little hard to control. Kind of squirrely. It seems to vary on different types of highway roads. Sometimes, it’s fine. Sometimes, it’s kind of a struggle to keep the car perfectly straight. My husband and I have both felt this issue. Also, it doesn’t seem to like first gear. When driving very slowly (like down your alley), it can lunge a little. Other than that, the wireless charger is a great idea, but my phone gets very hot when charging on it. And it is quite slow. These seem to be known issues. Overall, very happy with my Santa Fe! Only have 1,000 miles on the car, but I am pleased with my purchase.

Hits the mark

I have owned a Santa Fe Limited for 2-weeks. My criteria for buying it was: crossover utility vehicle (no need for a SUV with a truck frame...not going off road); third row seat for occasional use so no need for a big vehicle (target was about 200 inches long); seating for 7 (opted for the second row bench seat). Suggested areas for improvement; documentation is average (i.e. no picture and explanation of the controls between the climate control nobs or quick start guide) and the engine is a bit noisy.

Happy Buyer

Happy with this vehicle purchase but haven't mastered the key fob. Overall great experience whether I am the driver or the passenger. Great car for a new driver because it has all the failsafe features from lane change indicators to lane assist. Love the WiFi feature the most and the heated seats in back seat.
