Very good, but could be great

I bought the Santa Fe new. It has been comfortable to drive an reliable so far. It has had three recalls in 18 months. Biggest drawbacks are the auto stop cannot be disabled, it must be turned off each time you drive. I personally do not like it, there is a brief hesitation when it restarts and that is not good if you need to get going immediately. The cruise control turns off when I have sunglasses on, most likely because of the device mounted on the steering column. Every time I move my head the coffee cup comes up on the display telling me to rest. In mixed precipitation the sensors get clogged an I lose my safety and parking distance radar. The vehicle has been very good and if these items were addressed it could be great.

My Santa Fe makes me happy.

I love the interior. I was in the market for a more vintage-looking vehicle, like a 1980s-1990s 240 Volvo or a wood-paneled Jeep Wagoneer, with today's technology. Without buying an old vehicle This fit whay i was what I was looking for. The pecan and cognac color was a must for me! with the brown wood interior accent. I really like the interior door handles, the fit and finish inside the shape of the doors, inside and out. Love the rims on the limited. its all so awsome I would love to add fake wood panels on the outside. Hope to keep this vehicle for a long time, but I do feel hyundi dose cheage the look of their vehicle too quickly. which makes them lose value quickly. The only thing i would like to change would be how the back tile lights light up. What people call the dog bone. Hopefully, hyundau with change it without changing the whole back end. Because i my just go for a Toyota the keep their style and look the same longer. hyundi drive make better i would say

Auto Cruise Warped Rotors 3,000 miles in and Hyundai refused to fix

With only about 3,000 miles on the vehicle and the auto cruise engaged, the hard braking warped the rotors. Now, when the brakes are depressed, the vehicle shakes violently. Hyundai said it was due to wear and tear and wasn't covered by warranty. Also, for whatever reason, the way my wife drives the vehicle constantly dings even after only driving the vehicle for two minutes, saying, " Think about pulling over for a coffee break. And there's no way to turn that feature off. Will definitely not keep this at the end of the lease. And with this experience will probably never buy another Hyundai.

Not a greatly tested vehicle

All the features dosent seem to have been tested fully. Connecting to the phone is draining the battery. Tired are of not great quality. Had to replace the tire from a minor pothole.

Almost perfect

Love the truck but there are 3 minor design flaws. 1). Rearview wiper goes top down and will always leave a smearing mark. Needs to be bottom up. 2). Dashboard glare from design on curved dashboard that reflect in windshield when light at wrong angle. 3). Doors always lock outside in when driving, automatic feature thats not needed. As a truck it is great and I am in my 3rd Sante Fe. Best truck imo.

Love my Santa Fe

Have been very happy with my Santa Fe overall. Rides nice, features suit my needs and the new style is extremely appealing. Had transmission issues early on and our Hyundai dealer took excellent care of the problem with no disruption to our lives.

Nice comfortable car with lots of room!

I am really enjoying my 24 Hyundai Santa Fe. I wasn't crazy about the new body style at first but it has really grown on me and the extra interior space it gives you is wonderful. The Calligraphy package has all the bells and whistles and comfort features and the Heads Up Display is awesome. I do find that the car is not quite as zippy as its predecessor though thankfully a recent software upgrade does seem to have fixed the delay on takeoff that was an issue.

Great vehicle.

I bought this car to get more room for my family. It turned out to be a lot more than that. It's comfortable, smooth and I like the matte gray color. Overall a very well made vehicle. This is my 4th hyundai and I highly recommend them.
