Great car/truck combo

I originally looked at a Santa Cruz a year or so before buying the one I have now. I didn't get one then because my two biggest criteria was 6-cylinder or turbo and no sunroof. At the time, those two options together weren't possible. Fast forward to late 2025, we found one not too far away that had turbo and didn't have a sunroof. I was elated. I love my truck/car (cruck?) combo. It totally feels like a car while driving and hauls stuff like you'd expect a truck to do. Tons of storage areas in the cab and in the bed. I love the locking tonneau cover. Actually, I love just about everything about it. The only thing I could wish for is a color in the electric blue range but I am fine with the green too.

Santa Cruz The best vehicle in existence

I absolutely love this vehicle. It’s not too big it’s not too small it’s perfect and I love the bed on the back. Extremely convenient! I get many compliments even from larger truck owners. I’m really bummed that Hyundai decided to get rid of this Santa Cruz 😭 I would’ve loved for them to make a Santa Cruz XL version. I love the shape and how it feels like a hybrid.

Tons of safety features!

The Santa Cruz has a VAST amount of safety features! So many, that watching YouTube videos to learn about all the features and use of them is a must. The only issue I've had with my vehicle is not the phone I had wasn't compatible with some of the Bluelink capabilities, therefore I had to purchase a new $600 phone. Overall, it's a great vehicle!

Used as a daily driver. Nice power and the styling is what stood out the most. Rumor has it Hyundai plans to make it look like any other small pickup. Honda ruined their Ridgeline and sounds like Hyundai is headed down the same road.

Abilities of a pick up but the feel of an SUV

I love this vehicle, but there are a couple of draw backs to consider. The automatic headlights, on mine anyway, are extremely sensitive making them useless since they constantly come on and go off even on bright sunny days. I was told by one dealer that they would adjust them, which they did not, and by another dealer that they could not be adjusted. Second. If you are a woman and ever wear your hair up or in a ponytail, the seats are annoying, as they don't allow for your hair and you have to tilt your head forward. If you have a job that requires you to wear your hair up, you know what I'm talking about. If the seats are not fabric and they are not vented, then they are either too hot or too cold in the summer and winter. I really wish someone had told me this, I would have chosen the fabric seats. One other draw back is the fuel economy, it's not great. Overall, I do love this vehicle, I love the look, and the abilities it has, and would buy it again.
