Sloppy chassis, hobbled charging, poor interface design, awful company

This will be my first and last Hyundai (or Kia or Genesis). I'm just using up the miles until lease end. I have nothing good to say about IONIQ 6 or Hyundai Motor Group.

I love my IONIQ 6 but, I hope I can trade it in on an IONIQ 6 that goes, at least, 500 - 1,000 miles on a charge!

Better than advertised

This car is a comfortable, intuitive, responsive joy to drive. I compared to Tesla before leasing the Ioniq 6, and it was no contest. The Hyundai had a longer range, was cheaper (at least in my part of the US), and had better handling.

Excellent but for one thing

Love the car. The handling and acceleration are phenomenal. The only thing it needs is a Bluetooth phone CarPlay!

Wonderful vehicle, especially for town driving

One of the best vehicles we have owned. We find it especially suited for a round town driving since I can charge it off my 110 outlet as long as my driving is under 70 miles a day. I would highly recommend this vehicle to anyone. It has been one of the most fun cars to drive we have ever had.

Great Car with a few minor inconveniences

*) The sensors on the door handles that lock the car are unreliable. *) I have had times where the car gets confused. I believe the two times it happened were caused by my trying to put it in drive with the charging cable still attached. I recall that I then had trouble turning the car off, turning it on, and getting the charging cable removed. Its been a while, so if anyone actually reads this, I can try to reproduce it. *) The car should automatically lock the doors on exit. *) The charging schedule should have separate settings for home vs away. At home, I only want it to charge at night. If I am away and I plug it in, it is because I want it to charge right now.

Overall nice, but some annoying drawbacks

Nice car overall. Our first first somewhat-luxury car, and we appreciate the plush feel and numerous luxury touches.Road feel and acceleration is great. Biggest downside is an overly sensitive proximity warning system. It beeps too much at nearby objects. Most is annoying is stopped at stoplights. Sometimes it'll beep nonstop when we're completely stationary at a reasonable distance from nearby cars. Would've been a deal-breaker if we'd know ahead of time. I assume could be fixed with software update.

Would return if i can

So to start out charging the car is far more expensive than getting gas in a standard combustion engine car. My insurance is through the roof. I love the car i just can barley afford to own it.
