Do NOT sleep on Hyundai!!!

The Ioniq 6 is that midlife crisis car you WANT, with the excuses that justify its NEED! No gas or oil, insanely fast AND responsive. I have never owned a better vehicle.

Solid EV

Great car with only minor complaints. Good: Drives well and gets good mileage. Poor: some controls behind touch screen (Heated seats), screen hard to reach when seat is back, doors don't automatically lock.

I love this car

I have totally enjoyed using this car for over a year. It is a pleasure to drive, comfortable and quiet, with excellent electronics. I am amused when I stop in a gas station to buy coffee or use the rest room at the fact that I use NO GAS. Since getting a charger installed at home, it has just been even better.

Drives beautifully- a few features could be better.

It drives beautifully and is very dependable. Don’t love that the door handle stick it when unlocked, so everyone knows! Also during the freezing, snowy weather, the charger go stuck in the car’s port… the port door should flip up creating a “hood” to minimize moisture getting in and freezing. Otherwise I love it.

I absolutely love this vehicle!

The ride is so smooth. The interior is quite comfortable and there is plenty of leg room. The screens are large and easy to navigate and read.

This is the worst car I have ever owned

I enjoy the look of this car but other than that it never seems to just work. There’s always some random thing that’s popping up with a notification to say it’s turned off. Driving an EV is cool but I still expect the car to just work the same way a normal car would just work but it doesn’t

Well built car, but tech implementation isn't the best.

Our Ioniq6 SEL AWD feels solid, drives well, and has been reliable for the first 14 months of ownership. It has plenty of power, well damped suspension that provides a good ride yet firm enough to be a bit sporty. On the other hand, the seats aren't very comfortable for drives longer than 30-45 minutes, and much of the tech implementation just misses the mark compared to other modern vehicles. The review camera is differicult to see at night, as it gets washed out from the taillights, the lane centering can't be trusted, as it won't notify you if it can't see the lane edges, the android auto connection is unreliable, as is the keyless door lock/unlock feature. For a car that has a lot of tech, it seems as if competitor's cars weren't thoroughly studied and the product was rushed to market.

Great Car - fun to drive!

This is my first EV - quite a learning curve! But after having driven it for 2 1/2 months, including one cross-country trip, I can finally say I feel very comfortable with it. I particularly like being able to charge it at home at night when electricity rates are super cheap. I also like the great acceleration and the way it never hesitates, not even slightly, when the accelerator is pressed. It's extremely quiet, I really enjoy the HD radio, hands-free phonecalls and the ability to run my preferred GPS (Waze) on the dashboard.

Great car, love the range, a lot of tech

This is a great car, I love the handling, sleek look, and range. The reason for 4/5 stars is due to the overwhelming amount of tech/alarms/notifications built in. Of course, I appreciate the safety aspect, but some of the notifications and reliance on the computer system is overkill.

Everything I wanted, mostly.

This is a great car. My partner bought the ionic five a few months earlier. I think it’s a really good car but I will say because they on six is more of a sedan. It rides a little bit smoother than the five. The mileage is great often the miles I drive is greater than the loss of miles in my range which is really pleasing. It handles well it stops well accelerates really well. More comfortable than the Mustang MachE I get from work. Tiny complaints: With all the great things it has in the interior particularly the heated seats. I don’t understand why the steering wheel wasn’t hit. Couldn’t have cost that much to make it a standard item. And I wish there was better integration with Apple maps. I have yet to to figure out how to get the map to use the whole screen like the native navigation app does. Paul know I’d buy this car again in a heartbeat and I’d recommend it to my friends.

Add physical buttons Allow more customization to the dashboard (doesn't even have the time!) And speed, others are sometimes hard to see based on positioning
