Great car - multitalented

I sold my pickup truck and bought my IONIQ 5 with a tow package. I have hauled a loaded small UHaul from Arkansas to Ohio once in cold January and once in hot July. No problems. When towing a load the fuel mileage is not great but adequate. The rest of the time I get ~3.5 mi/kWhr. I would expect better fuel mileage without the tow package but I needed the dual usage. Hauls up to 2/3 ton of gravel with no problem in trailer for home construction.

Almost there, but needs built better, and better dealers

I want to like this car so much more. It does great things, the range is fantastic, it's comfortable, I can road trip it... but the dealers at least around me just aren't great, and I've had multiple issues over 20k miles that have required servicing for multiple days at a dealer, one of which I'm thinking should have been done with the ICCU but just never got it. Also lots of squeaks and rattles at not even 2 years Its a shame because it prevents me from recommending this to everyone

Great car with a few faults

Great car. One issue. Too many cryptically labeled controls on the steering wheel. I hit them accidentally and cant toggle them.

A lot of Pros and only a few cons - usb plug location on the floor - temp control in back sets - usb outlets in back seat

Misses the mark

Very poor emergency support. One pedal driving, which is the proper way for electric vehicle driving must be selected each time you change gears. Comfortable but missing important elements

The lift gate has bowed up twice and one was fixed and when it happened again I was told Hyundai would not fix the issue. As a lease you should repair things that are heat related as was the issue.

Would be better if it was more compact and energy efficient. Seems to turn on randomly to charge the 12v battery for no reason. Smart features aren't needed. Just make reliable, energy efficient, affordable electric cars.
