Such a great EV, Hyundai hit the ball out of the park with this car. I have another EV and love this Hyundai for the value and equipment at such a reasonable price point. I’d love to see the Palisade in and EV. That would be my next purchase.

Best EV on the market

I was researching cars for months and when I came across the Ioniq 5, I was blown away. It's got some amazing bells and whistles (my last car was from 2011) that make it a joy to drive. The interior lighting is one of my fave custom features.

Excellent EV

The ioniq5 has plenty of cargo room. Front seats are comfortable and there is more than enough leg and head room for tall drivers. Range is good and the heat pump heat system really helps to not lose range in the winter. Performance is good, no traction issues with the dual motor option.

I thought the survey was poor because you need a separate survey for electric vehicles as some of the survey does not apply. It's also outdated as it did not offer an option for a 2023 car, only 2022 was offered

Great car but incomplete

Drives well, comfortable, and well-constructed. But does not have a rear widow wiper, needs bluetooth Apple CarPlay, on rough pavement has a lot of low-frequency road noise (for an electric car), needs fewer touch-screen controls and more push buttons or knobs and is missing some controls (such as for the heads up display).

Great car

I purchased the Hyundai Ioniq 5 SEL. I’m very happy with my purchase. The vehicle is very fun to drive and the build quality is excellent. I really like the interior as well. The SEL gives good bang for your buck.

Great machine. Well designed and a well built car. The power passenger seat is very good and comfortable for longer periods in the car. Very good sound system. Navigating between screens reasonably easy. Would buy again!

Great Car With LOTS of STORAGE!

Replaced a hybrid with this car. It exceeds all my expectations! I got the Limited version and am so very glad I did. The center console lifts UP so that I can put my purse underneath it. It actually has a place to be now and won't roll off the seat or have to be put in the back anymore. I also have a place for a square kleenex box, as well as an actual car trash bin! And the glove compartment is so deep I can put a small roll of paper towels in it length wise! There's a space under the hood for the charging cable, and under the floor in the cargo area, there's room for a first Aid kit as well as an emergency tool kit! And there's still room for more. All this and I haven't even begun to say how wonderful it is to drive. You can see forever in this car with the 360° cameras and the tilting side view mirrors. Very comfortable and roomy inside as well.

Great styling but poor mileage

I love the styling on this vehicle. The speed is fine and the road traction is excellent. The only problem is the distance on a charge. I drive a lot of turnpike and the miles per charge is much worse than I expected. Also, this car was more money than a number of comparable electric vehicles.

Love this car

Car is amazing. Styling is great interior is great and spacious. Definitely needs a rear windshield wiper and usb c other than that I really love the car. Matte paint looks so good everywhere I go people ask about the car

Hyundai Ioniq is a GREAT choice!

Our first EV and it was clearly a wise choice. The vehicle is built really well, very solid to drive and performs exceptionally well. It feels safe, is reliable and extremely comfortable to drive. We have only begun to understand and incorporate all of the features provided. A great choice.

Funest car to drive.

Ignoring all the publications and reviews, this is truly a very fun car to own, operate and drive. it's roomy, performant, comfortable, great in the rain (since it's AWD), has plenty of features. What it's missing are: 1) Rear window wiper 2) Memory seats 3) 360 camera view 4) Rear climate control 5) Bluetooth Apple CarPlay.

Charging issues / rear wiper missing

Love the car with two exceptions: no rear wiper and can’t charge it very easily. The charging issue is big - surprised and disappointed this is an issue at ALL charger I visit. Lack of Rear wiper also is difficult in the northeast US.

Fantastic experience as a new EV owner

We have been considering buying an electric vehicle for sometime, but never felt that the infrastructure in our area would support it. We were also very unsure about whether the charge time was going to make owning the vehicle a pain in the neck. When we saw the Ioniq 5 and the excellent ratings, it has gotten and fast charge times we decided to test drive one. It is so much fun to drive and we took the plunge. We live in Northwest Montana, where there are hardly any charge stations and actually there are no fast 350kw or faster stations. We have been very pleasantly surprised that owning the Ionic 5 has been absolutely seamless. We already had a 50 amp circuit in our garage for running welders and other equipment and with the Grizzl-e charge station we bought charging has been absolutely no problem. We can take the car and run errands in the Flathead Valley all day and come back, plug it in, and within a couple hours we’re charged back up to where we usually keep it at 80%. If we’re going on a longer trip we will charge it to 90 or 100% which is all customizable in the electronic menus in the vehicle. I frequently drive 150 miles to Missoula for work and the complementary 30 minute session (comes with the Ioniq 5 for a two year period after purchase) at Electrify America in Missoula charges back everything that I use traveling 150 miles. The quiet ride and incredibly fast acceleration and torque of the vehicle make it the most fun car to drive I have ever owned. We live at the top of an icy hill in Montana and the all wheel drive has been great on snow and ice no problems getting up the hill.

I have enjoyed this vehicle more than any other that I have purchased. It is comfortable and fun to drive. I have been consistently getting an electric range of about 230 miles in the mountains and cold weather. I have not had any complaints about the vehicle and would highly recommend it .

Battery Problems in Two Weeks of Ownership

Battery Problems less than two weeks of ownership and less than 450 miles. Was driving on a major interstate when the car would no longer accelerate and I had to pull to the side. Very dangerous as I was close to being rear-ended.

First EV

Love the car very comfortable to drive and I'm 6'2 210 pounds. I use the car as a daily commuting vehicle and I drive about 45 miles one way to work. Street the installation of the home charger it now only cost me about $1 per day to charge my vehicle to go to and from work. I really had a lot of anxiety about charging my vehicle or not being able to when needed, but when I got the home charger I am at ease now. No regrets, Hyundai makes a great product and I'm sure the Ioniq 5 will be no different.

Love the Car

I’m in love with the car, the only down side I have my AC or heater stop working, they don’t have a car to let me borrow while they fix mine. Still waiting for my Car only have like 1345mi brand new should not have problems like this in new car.
