Most underrated vehicle ever.

I LOVE this car so much! It is so underrated. It is a hoot to drive and can still be a fuel efficient cruiser when needed. Performance Blue is the best!

Great look, great power, not enough cameras

Love my "E". Just wish the offered a model with all the tradional elantra extras. The cameras and electronics. Keep the base "E" model but also offer a more upscale package.

Good value for performance

Fun car with solid performance for the price. Solid interior, with above average quality. Exterior body panel fitment and quality leaves much to be desired. The fuel learning feature produces a exciting driving experience, although it would be much better with the factory tune giving the max power without the “tuning time”. Could do with stiffer engine mounts to reduce wheel hop. Dealership experience for both sales and warrantee work is very poor.

Decent Car,, Not Great

I’ve had my Elantra N for just over a year now. I was attracted to the car for its advertised track day and daily driver performance and promise. As a daily driver it’s quite good with outstanding tech, comfort and practicality, though most manufacturers have done a better job preventing squeaks and rattles even in this price segment. For track day duty it is so so. It is quite capable but that capability is not matched with its durability of consumables or fuel capacity. It eats brakes and one needs access to very near by fuel or to bring quite a bit extra plus a full tank to really enjoy a track day or even half day. Track fuel economy worse than cars I’ve tracked with near 200+hp more than this car. As a track day car it’s really only suitable for a beginner to easily novice level driver. Hyundai also needs to better stand behind the car if they intend to talk the track day talk. While a lot of parts could be considered consumable for track days things like brake calipers should be better backed or they need to be more directly honest about what the car can and cannot do I stock trim. And the octane lean is beyond bad intentions for such a car. Those reviewing this car in the press must be paid off or aren’t competent high performance drivers.

Elantra N and the minor inconveniences.

Things that would make the Elantra N more user friendly that could be solved by pushing updates to the vehicle. The Octane Learning is okay…but once I shut the car off it loves to reset as well as switching drive modes. There needs to be a way to tell if it is octane learned as well besides the boost gauges. I’d love to speak on this topic as I’m heavily involved in the automotive world.

So far so good

I wanted a manual transmission & found the Elanta N to offer much more value than the other car I was considering, the Acura Integra A Spec. (Also considered Honda Civic Si but those were in short supply and the Subaru WRX wasn't as good looking as the Elantra). The Elantra offered better performance, more comfortable seating and more car for the buck. This is my first Hyundai and while it was difficult to give up Honda engineering after a 2017 Accord that never gave me an ounce of trouble in 210,000 miles, I think I made the right choice with the Elantra N. Let's hope I never have to take advantage of your extended warranty.

Sensor issue since day 1

Took home a brand new Hyundai Elantra N. Just to have the front bumper sensors keep going off. Took it to the dealership and they said I had to pay to get the wiring fixed or repaired due to “rodents”. I think the rodents had ate the wire on the lot but either way they made me pay for this to be fixed and once I payed to get it fixed, I picked it up after, the issue still occurred. It was not tested before the car was handed back to me. I feel scammed.

Best Bang for Buck vehicle you can purchase today.

As the title suggests, this is the greatest new vehicle performance value you could find. Punches well above its price point and handles its own with cars that are worth $10k-$20k higher. My only complaints are really nitpicks. The DCT vehicles should really have radar cruise control. Wireless carplay seems like a no brainer if you are going to have a wireless charger. The N button programming does not stay after the update.

To know it is to love it.

Great combination of performance and economy. It's 10,000 to 15,000 less than comparable performance cars. Excellent engineering but lacks understanding of its virtues. Enthusiasm ends in I, Am, Sold, Myself. Your marketing and sales training have missed the mark. This car should be in much higher demand.

The Elantra n has been good only have 2 problems the driver side bumper has started to sag the hood and bumper has a gap now I would like to get that fixed and I’m afraid to run it through a car wash because of the knock sensor getting wet and the car dying because of that I have read a lot of problems with that.
