Outstanding choice

This has been the best car I have ever purchased. I have driven Cadillacs most of my life and the cannot come close to GV 70. Comfort, Style, performance, and luxury is the best.

Overall I have enjoyed owning and driving my Genesis.

I am impressed with the look and design of the car. This is what caused me to investigate the brand further. I enjoy the way it drives and handles. My issues with the vehicle are safety issue related. The front end collision warning system has given me problems. Also the chrome on my car has oxidized.

Mostly good

A few technology issues and the dealer (Corona) was not good. The driver assistance system has had problems with false readings and alarms that is extremely annoying. There is only one place in all of san diego to get the car serviced so getting appointments is difficult. My experience buying the car at Genesis of Corona was not good, they upsold me at the last minute and messed up the registration of my car putting it someone else’s name.

Great looking car and a smooth ride.

Overall this is a great car but it does have a few flaws. No walk away lock, cargo is a bit small, and the 4 cylinder turbo is a bit slow. In addition the speaker phone (Bluetooth) has a terrible echo. It drives beautifully and takes the bumpy road quite well. I love the design of the car inside and out. Hopefully Genesis will consider the flaws and the car would be perfection. My advice is to splurge on the bigger engine or the GV80.

Love the vehicle, reliability concerns vs Japanese car coming true

We love our GV70, but with only 10K miles our car started making high pitched noise from the rear differential between 50 - 60 mph. Since the car is so quiet, if the car stereo isn't on, it's a very annoying sound. I have scheduled an service appointment and hoping they will find a permanent fix for this issue.

Great and OK

Love the car. Rides Great. Stylish. Could be better gas mileage. Car was sold with free Maintenance for 3 years or 36K miles. Keep getting contradictory messages. I get an email and/or the car says it is ready for service but when I call they say it is not ready. I made recommended set-up changes to fix the inconsistency when I called but still wasn't fixed. I asked Genesis to set it up correctly during a service call but they said they couldn't because it wasn't on the service order. Supposedly a 5 minute job. I just received a new email "Your current mileage (13773 miles) indicates maintenance is due for your 2023 GENESIS GV70". If the car says it is every 2K miles based on driving habits, why does Genesis say it is every 5K - 7K miles when I call? It currently has 4K since the last service so I am going to try and set-up an appt. Last time they wouldn't.

Great luxury car

I really enjoyed the car. I liked the designed and it was fun to drive. It was spacious, roomy and I like the safety features. The details of the car are nice and it was nice to drive. I had very little issues with the car when I had it for over years.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my GV70!

The look and feel of this car is so elegant and luxurious. The ride is smooth and quiet. It has great acceleration. I love all the safety and convenience features. The navigation is very user friendly. The sound system is outstanding. There is nothing I would change about this car.

Problem free for the most part with minor sensory issues

Bought the car used from a dealer with full factory warranty and certification. For the most part this car has been an excellent purchase from every perspective. There are electrical issues in particular with the sensors. Front radar is always disabled when it rains or after washing the car. The sensors are unable to deal with water well. Front collision warning system often overreacts causing unnecessary alarm for the driver. These issues are annoying.

Great ride. Great look. Great size. I would recommend it to people. The matte gray color was different and something challenging to keep up but it made the car stand out. I have eighty more words for the review to be accepted. Tire size is good. It is a great car.

Outstanding Car!

This car screams quality throughout. One of the best car buying decisions I've ever made. I love the styling, handling and overall feel of the car. Genesis needs to work on that premium brand service and dealer experience. They operate out of a Hyundai dealership, which is good, but in my opinion not where a premium brand should be. For example, service records are not updated in the Genesis system so I can annoying notices for service when service has been done. Also, the software can be glitchy.

Fun to drive, great safety features but too easy to be distracted

Very enjoyable to drive. Luxurious interior (Burgundy/Burgundy). 2.5's turbo lag is too great. Sound system off/bad until 18 month later update fixed. Ride off at delivery/very later determined to be poor front alignment; ruined front tires. Excellent safety features. Roomy front but poor leg room and ventilation for rear seating.

Very Pleased

I enjoyed dr8ving the 2023 GV70 very much. The vehicle held up well and was always turning heads. I wasn't well versed in the Genesis brand before leasing the vehicle, but it has since become a more well known brand. This was probably the most stylish car I've driven and that includes my previous BMW sports sedan.

Poor customer service. The "concierge" service does not exist.

Had a couple of warranty items - front headlight assemblt condensation. Dealer ordered the part, received the part and returned the part without contacting me. I called and left a message once a week for 6 weeks and the dealer would not return messages. Contacted corporate Genesis and the dealer ignored them. While this was ongoing my fuel pump was failing and I was driving for 2 months with considerable loss of power and this was a safety issue as well. After demanding to speak to someone instead of leaving yet another voicemail, I did get service scheduled. They had my car 2 weeks and there was no loaner. Corporate Genesis would only reimburse for 1 car rental day - they would not return phone calls or emails to avoid this problem. The drop off/return dates on the service receipt were false - receipt stated the dealer only had the car for 2 days, not 2 weeks. When they are not returning messages, they excel at telling you very politely that they don't care and they will not help with any warranty work.

Best car I’ve owned (including Lexus).

The technology is very helpful for city and long drives. The suspension is wonderful. I enjoy the 3.5T acceleration. The Prestige model seats are very comfortable, incl. the bolster adjustment at 80+ mph. I also enjoy HUD and blind spot views on dashboard. I am concerned about potential warranty claims when the Albuquerque, NM Dealership was closed after I purchased the vehicle.

The GV70 has performed very well. 28K miles and no problems.

I've had the GV70 for a bit over 2 years, and driven 28K miles with no problems. Only been to Genesis 3 times for normal maintenance. Very good quality build. In terms of driving, it's fairly agile, though there's a very slight lag when accelerating from a stand-still; I assume this is the normal lag of a turbo engine. If I need fast acceleration, I switch to sport mode and it's substantially quicker (once at speed, I revert to comfort).

Innovative and great value

I am very pleased with the vehicle, especially with the features and value provided. The care is fun to drive and very comfortable. The dealership is the most negative aspect of the experience, the HDA features were overpromised by the dealer sales staff.

Excellent car and design for a great price. No issues in 2 years of ownership thus far. Came with all the options I could have wanted as standard equipment. 3 year included service and included window tint is a nice touch. Comfy seats, AWD, nice sound system.

Great ride and comfort. I wish there was a Genesis dealership closer to my house in Valencia. The service department in westlake is wonderful but it's fifty miles away. I wish they had a brown saddle leather interior option. The light color is to light.
