Good power, fun to drive, but surprisingly poor overall experience.

I have had this car a few months now. Drives very well and is enjobale. But surprisingly poor overall experience. - I have tried repeatedly to get my electronic key to work with my iPhone. I keep getting the answer that it should work, but it doesn't. Have spent hours on this with no resolution. Supposedly this has been escalated but never heard back. - Was told that I would receive a free Tesla adaptor but then was told I would not. I was also very surprised that the only charger with which the car came was a 120V charger rather than a 240V. I had to buy one myself. - The car play function is buggy. Every couple of days I have to reconnect my bluetooth even though I am the only one using the car. - The contactless charger has inadquate power. When I put use the navigation on my phone while it is in the charging slot, it continues to discharge slowly even though the charging light is on. - My instruction manual came with a bunch of missing pages. Apparently nobody can provide a replacement and the only answer I get is that I can use the electronic version! - Air conditioning system is not very good. Overall a surprisingly disappointing experience. I bought it because of the reviews, but I guess the reviewers assessed it on driveability and features (which are good), but have not had to experience the problems with actually owning the car.

I love my Genesis!

We call it the electric marshmallow because it's so sublimely comfortable to drive it. The handling is tight-it saved our lives yesterday as a truck careened across the yellow line almost into us.

Worth it, even with some quirks and missing opportunities

I love my 2025 GV70 electric SUV. Even though it has some odd things (climate randomly changes from Farenheit to Celsius, an annoying squeak that lasted for 2 weeks then stopped, the infotainment system is cumbersome when switching from Android Audio to Bluetooth when you need to use the second phone in the car), the comfort, drivability and safety features are worth what I paid.

New EV Driving Experience

I have had my EV70 for 2.5 months and only charge it from home to 80-90% during non-peak hours. I am still nervous abut long trips and finding an adequate fast charging station.

Excellent Vehicle, Especially for the Price

The quality of materials and the fit-and-finish is exceptional. Ride is comfortable and the vehicle is spacious enough for 4 adults and baggage. Tech is excellent. EV range is good but not great. Adaptive cruise control can be quite annoying on city streets - stops can be abrupt and jerky. System will sometimes randomly switch from imperial units to metric units and can be annoying to switch back. Overall, an excellent vehicle, especially for the price.

range is disappointing and generally lower than advertised.

Traded in a GV60 which was not as big and comfortable but provided more range. However, in spite of its comfort the GV70 is disappointing. It’s range is generally lower than advertised and it’s performance is lower than hoped. I have a gas GV70 and it’s also been a disappointment. Both vehicles have been back for recalls. Overall, the Genesis brand seems to have deteriorated.

Love my GV70!

I LOVE MY GV70! It was on my mind for a while and did a ton of research before landing on this model as my next car! I wasn't expecting to go with the electeic version but I am SO happy that I did! Everything has been effortless so far and was even better when car play because wireless through an update! I feel like im going to stay with the brand for quite a while!

Very comfortable and fast

As a first time owner of an EV I am very pleased with the Genesis GV70. Great looking, comfortable and quick as blazes. The only negative comments so far is the back seat is not as spacious as our guests would like, but still comfortable.

Still some problems with wireless Apple Pay when talking on the phone, it switches to stereo and back-and-forth also Fahrenheit turns to centigrade about once or twice a week for no apparent reason it has to be put back to Fahrenheit

Luxury EV/Poor Corporate Customer Service

I purchased the GV 70 electrified almost four months ago. It is an excellent crossover SUV and has been reliable so far. It is very quiet and smooth and luxurious as well as being practical. My only criticism is the range, although I do better than the EPA estimate. There are a couple of small concerns for which I contacted Genesis customer service. The first was that the owner's manual had about 25 pages missing. Customer service refused to send out a corrected copy, with the only solution provided being a link to the on-line manual (which I already had). The second was a question about the complimentary charging adapter (for Tesla Superchargers). After purchasing the car, I was told by the tech support agent (Genesis Genius) at my dealership that I would be contacted about receiving one. When this didn't happen I looked on-line to see that the offer was only for cars purchased before January 31, 2025. Mine was purchased February 11. Since this policy made no sense to me, I e-mailed customer service five weeks ago and did not receive the courtesy of a reply. Three weeks ago, I sent a letter to Mark Del Rosso, President and CEO of Genesis Motor America and did receive a reply as well. It is quite surprising that Genesis Customer Service has not been helpful and even ignored an customer's inquiry. Maybe it shouldn't be when leadership seems to have the same attitude.

This car is incredible!

My third Genesis. After an ICE GV70 and a GV60, I am in my favorite Genesis, a GV70 Electrified! This car is amazing. The GV70 styling is fluid, appealing, above the crowd. The fit and finish are EXCELLENT, and the electric powertrain is AWESOME!
