Beautiful Car, but not as nice as it should be.
It's a beautiful car inside and out. The power is tremendous, almost excessive. You'll never need the boost (beast?) mode... It's slightly dangerous.
I believe its problems and annoyances will improve with the next models. However, there are some things that are easy fixes that could easily have been addressed during the design phase:
The suspension and noise cancellation/insulation are wonderful but could still be better. I live in NYC. It's very noisy and the roads are absolutely terrible. There needs to be a 'Bentley mode' or some adjustment one can make so you don't feel or hear all the bumps. They're impossible to avoid here.
In the 2025 Prestige trim, the USA version does not recognize the key fob as assigned to a profile (and seat position). I'm often scraping my head to get in before I can switch the seat position to my own. And there's very little room for one's arm to go between the door and the seat to operate the seat buttons. It's really tight. The seats themselves are not as plush as they should be and aren't going to be comfortable on a long trip.
The realistic range on a full charge on a very cold day is well under 100 miles. Infotainment computer is very slow, especially to switch profiles. OTA updates don't work whatsoever (poor modem signal).
But the MOST annoying thing is all the incessant beeping and booping. The alarms are ridiculous. Even while not moving, with your foot on the brake, if a person walks in front of the car in the crosswalk, it will beep. You'll need to be close to the garage door to open it because the signal from the opener is weak. But the proximity to the door (before it opens) will set off the alarms in the car, too - again, while you're not moving. It's like a nagging, complaining child trying to get your attention all the time.
The quasi-self-driving is a joke. It frequently turns itself off because it can't parse the image. If there are ANY imperfections in the painted lines, fuggeddaboudit. But even when it's 'working' it can't anticipate anything. Even on a gentle curve, the auto steering will be late and almost scrape into a side barrier or car before it corrects at the last second.
