Best vehicle I have ever owned.
The 2006 Tahoe LT is the best vehicle I have ever owned. Quality workmanship, fit and finish in an elegantly appointed real truck. The powerful yet fuel efficient 5.3 L Vortec powerplant combined with a smooth shifting drivetrain and shift on the fly 4x4 make driving this gorgeous hunk of American chrome, leather and steel abgenuine pleasure. The easy handling car-like ride and authoritative stance give this beautifully designed SUV real.presence on the road, trail, highway or parking lot. Withbroom for 6-7 real adults, the Tahoe is a dream to travel in. Our family made three round trips from Western NY to San Antonio TX in a 12/month period of time when gas prices were near $5/gallon in remarkable comfort and didn't break the bank. I got 23 mpg at an average speed of 68 mph with a/c running front and back, and a heavily packed rear storage. I loved this vehicle so much that after nearly 300,000 miles I went and found another one just like it. And these trucks hold their value. My 10 yr old 300k truck in fair condition isvstill worth $6000.00 . So, for comfort, good looks, durability, road-worthiness and real value. This truck can't be beat.
