My wife loves it. More than me I suspect :-)

It’s the right size for an suv. Not anywhere as big as the 2021 models. The arm rest actually raises when you raise the seat. Rare in modern ones. Big Windows for clear all around views, especially when backing up, Vehicle has 127k miles and has been driven in all kinds of weather, including deep snow, mountains, etc. Has never failed to get to destination.

Made my Tahoe like new

I had brought in my high mileage tahoe for front end work. It’s at a high mileage with 293,000 and it’s been a long life for the truck being on Wisconsin roads. After the repairs done my truck handles as close to new as it’s gonna get. I love it

It's a beast

I bought this during the Obama "cash for junkers" program for a fraction of it's value. Great utility vehicle for hauling, towing, and harsh winter conditions. It is also possible to flat tow a Tahoe behind an RV, added bonus.

I have owned my loaded 4WD Tahoe since 2001. We purchased a 1 owner with 82k miles. Today 2020, we have 196,000 and it's going strong. The 350 ci vortec V-8 has been a trouble free engine. The key is changing oil & filter every 3k miles. Oil voming out likes new oil going in. Overall this soon to be classic is a great investment!

Great Old SUV

Everything is great about our 1999 Chevy Tahoe, including ride, comfort, reliability, minimal issues, looks, great power (350 (5.7L) engine -upgraded engine), interior space and most upkeep is easy. Drawbacks: brakes are a little harder to work on then the newer generations (newer ones are very easy), and uses a little more gas than I expected.

Family SUV

Great vehicle over the years. It’s 20 years old and I plan to drive it many more. My Tahoe is not rusted out do to lots of TLC, Ziebart rust proofing, and using lots of LPS 3 rust inhibitor in the doors and other rust prone areas.

Great Tahao

Very impressed with this truck . Rides great and handles great , plenty of power, very quiet and the heater and AC works great, I have no complaints on this vehicle at all. I also have a sub a year older and it’s a great vehicle also.

The Beast!

I’ve had my 1999 Tahoe for 12-years. She still runs excellent! Traveled all over theses United States and it’s been reliable. Hands down the strongest vehicle I have ever owned! I bought an Escalade, but I can’t let go of my Tahoe......

Still going strong

My Tahoe has been the best vehicle I have ever owned. It is still on the road at 290K miles. I owe that to the people who were working at Chevy at the time the truck was built and Bob at Hilltown Automotive who has been working on my truck for the last 10 years!

The 2 door Tahoe is best SUV ever produced by Chevrolet and is extremely reliable.

I have owned this vehicle since 2002 when I purchased it with 24,000 miles on it. It has been extremely reliable having required only 2 repairs that were not routine maintenance in 15 years and 150,000 miles of driving. Tire mileage has been fantastic averaging 80,000 miles per tire since removing the factory tires. The exhaust system is still the original factory installed exhaust. I use the truck to tow a utility trailer into the Rocky Mountains over very steep and rugged terrain for camping and hunting and a 22 foot boat around the Cape Cod area and it is always up to the task. Too bad that Chevrolet discontinued this model.

Nice vehicle. Comfortable and well equipped. Poor gas mileage is worst. Feature but istypical for type and year. Reliability is unknown but expect average or better. My 1985 suburban has been a workhorse.

love my chevy

My tahoe is used, it is 16 years old. Sure things wear out over time, but Im still rolling. There are almost 200,000 miles on the odometer but with regular maintenance and a bit of loving care I am very secure in my vehicles abilities. I trust my chevy & I would drive it anywhere with confidence.

Oldie but a goodie

I've had my Tahoe for eight years. I've enjoyed it. It's generally been reliable, Ive kept it outside in the time I've had it so unfortunately it's starting to flake off. The drive train has been reliable.
