Have always loved the service, the employees are so friendly and they listen to what we want done. We call for an appointment and we get in fast. We have bought our cars and had service with Hyundai, will continue to do so.

Best Service Department In Town
There's never been a problem or issue in the several years I've been going here. The work is always done professionally and correctly. Service personnel are top notch. I have to give a shout out to Andrew. Every customer is important to him. He's pleasant to deal with and you can just tell that he cares. This is the best service department in Columbia.

Great service
Challenging to diagnose the problem but the technician stayed with it until it was solved. I don't live in the Columbia area or I would use them for all of my service.

Joe Machens Hyundai's exceptional service
Joe Machens Hyundai Service Department is the best I've ever used. The Service Manager always checks for recalls, and takes care of them if they find them. If a problem is found by the mechanic other than just the oil change that needs to be taken care of, they rely us and we get it fixed. They are as concerned about our safety as we are!!

Exceptional and stress free
I have had nothing but great sales and service from Machens Hyundai. I drive 90 miles to the dealership in Columbia and it is well worth the trip. Always a pleasant experience with friendly and helpful staff.

Quick service, but...
Came in for oil change and tire rotation. Car still has a 'maintenance due' note display when I start it. Also now has a coffee cup icon and a timer displayed that I can't seem to get rid of, even after consulting the manual. Will have to take it back again.

Trusted Service for 6 Years
Although the Covid-19 pandemic has changed up grocery shopping and doctor/medical routines, routine maintenance is still in place at Machen's Hyundai with some precautions. You can check-in with your smart phone! There is distanced seating. Staff maintain the 6 foot distance and utilize the plexiglass sneeze guard. My oil changes and tire rotations happen just the same as before. The maintenance checks happen just the same. Written reports of the checks and details of the work done is the same. Tiger Express basic wash complimentary passes complete the experience. Complimentary coffee/water and snacks are available in the waiting room area.

Fast turn-around-time
Andrew walked me through the most likely diagnosis about why my car went into "Limp Mode" and what to expect once they were able to run a full diagnostic scan. When dropping off my car it is always nice to know the best, worst, and most likely outcome. He was correct in his pre-diagnosis (and the anticipated fix) and I was able to pick up my car the following afternoon.

Very fast, friendly, and effecient service
I took my new Sonata in for service at 5000 miles. The service technician informed me that my new car didn't need service yet, bring it back at 7,500 miles. He then helped me with a couple of questions about settings. When I brought my car back after a trip, at 7,800 miles without an appointment, they took me in right away and I hardly had time to review all my emails in the customer lounge before my car was ready. Wow! So far I'm loving my experience with Machens Hyundai.
