2018 F150 Raptor
Mike White Ford service has been excellent and very courteous! I have a F150 Raptor with 30k and have been having issue with the IWE and the hubs make a terrible grinding noise. I have researched the problem and it is common on this drive system. I would like to see Ford support their excellent dealers like Mike White and find a solution to their problem. Also, because it can take months to get any service work scheduled your warranty can expire and Ford won't cover it. I have always had GM trucks, and this is my first Ford truck and unfortunately probably my last.

Multiple visits and an extremely long wait for the parts and repair.
I have been a Ford person for years. After the last repair fiasco I will no longer say that I like dealing with Ford at all.

My 2019 F150 Lariat, which had approximately 52-53k miles and was still under warranty started experiencing shifting issues. I made an appointment to take it to Mike White, nearly a month out to be seen. The technicians programmed the TCM and declared it repaired! I drove it no further than around the block and took it back. It was anything but better. They made another appointment, three weeks out!

I returned the truck for the second go at finding the issue. This time I was told that the truck would need transmission repairs, they found metal in the trans pan. They put the truck back together and gave it back to me, told me to drive it until the “next” appointment, two weeks out!

I returned the truck again and this time they removed and disassembled the transmission. After a few days of dealing with Ford warranty, I was told it would get a reman transmission but that there were none available. I was something like 100th in line waiting for the transmission to be available. The truck sat at the dealership for a few weeks waiting for repairs.

This process played out for a few months, caused me to cancel two trips I had planned and definitely strained my patience with Ford and the Mike White dealership.

I was provided a loaner, one of those tiny Broncos, it got really good mileage although I tried to not drive it any more than I absolutely needed. The service writer that assisted me, I don’t want to put his name here, was as helpful as he could be. I pressed him quite hard for information and updates and he always responded when he could.

We sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced. The warranty process is frustrating on both ends and we wish that we could do the repairs in the sequence that we want, but sometimes that process is dictated by the warranty rather than our expertise. We're glad that you had a good experience with your service writer and hope that the transmission issues are finished and complete.

Warranty work
When I made the appointment I was told that it would take half a day and they would have a rental car for me at no charge. When I arrived at 9 am they told me they would need the truck all day and that it may not be done until tomorrow. The reason was they only have two people to weld and not sure their schedule. My thought if you know you need to weld wouldn’t you schedule the appointment around the welder? They did have a loaner car for me. They said that it cost $35. They did cover the cost. I did get my car back around 5 pm. The reason for a 3 is this was not the first time I was told two different things.

Such nice people, they listen, explain and are timely
Every time I go in to have my car serviced I am always so impressed on how polite and professional all the people working in the service department are. Such a wonderful atmosphere and one that you wouldn't go anywhere else to have your car serviced.

Elecrical diagnostic and recall service
First, the good, the people I spoke to were very friendly. The bad...It took over a month from the time I called to the time my vehicle was scheduled. Due to the issues making my car almost undriveable, I asked for an earlier appointment. I was assured that if one came available, they would call; never happened. When I took my car in, it took all day until I got a phone call saying they finally figured out the issue and needed to keep it over the weekend. Then Monday and Tuesday came and went, no updates. I called and had to ask for it. I was then told they would hopefully get it to me by end of day Wednesday. They were able to get it completed two hours earlier than they said - but when I went to pick it up, I got to wait around a bit while they tried to find my service advisor. Two other advisors tried to find him, and when they couldn't, they didn't offer to just cash me out. Instead a third advisor came out and saw that nobody was helping and actually did. I've been buying cars and trucks from this business for more than 20 years and getting parts and service from them. This time was by far the worst experience I've had with this dealership. In the future, I will probably be shopping around to other dealerships that focus on service and ability.
