Always feel confident driving our Legacy
This is our third Subary Legacy which says alot. We find the vehicle to be just the right size for folks that want a roomy, capable sedan that can tackle tough climates. We traded in a 2016 model on this 2019 Sport model because of the advanced safety features that are typically available on much more expensive vehicles. The only feature we don't use is the automatic steering function that activates if you depart from your lane. We live in snow country and always feel confident our Legacy will get us where we need to go even in poor road conditions. It is lower to the ground than an SUV so in very deep snow, handling can become compromised.
The vehicle rides quietly and nimbly and has excellent acceleration and power for freeway driving. Braking is excellent even in emergency situations.
The dash and display is well organized and intuitive. The information/entertainment system takes a little getting used to. Scrolling through the various menu levels can be challenging for those of us not so tech saavy.
We've had a few bugs before hitting 20000 miles. The electronic emergency brake wouldn't release one day when the car was parked in an icy spot that wasn't totally flat. The information system has locked up a couple of times when trying to switch between modes and one of the four axles was defective.
