Was loving it...
No longer all that happy with my decision to buy my Crosstrek Subaru. I loved my car until now but my next car may be something different.
Turns out that the computer on my Crosstrek has no forgiveness on when you do an oil change (they say 6,000 miles... PERIOD!), and we were 2,000 miles late last time on my less than 30,000 mile car, Due to this, the computer (just now) got all jazzed up and my dashboard looked like a Christmas tree, all lit up with errors of things that were disabled, including my cruise control. The only way to fix it was to get an ECM update to fix SUBARU's issue that cost ME $180. This update was put out by Subaru to extend these Crosstrek cars mileage forgiveness between oil changes. I'm thinking that if even they realized they needed to put this update out there, it should have not been at MY cost!
PLUS, just read now that there are recalls on "certain" Crosstrek ECMs for several reasons (that we were never informed of) that look like may have been a couple of our issues!!! Will have to check further into this.
