Wonderful SUV, a joy to own, a pleasure to drive
Almost three years with our 2022 Ascent now and we love this car! Subaru has the best AWD, incredible safety ratings and awesome features! We travel all over the place as a performing act carrying three adults and a load of gear. We love our Subaru tour bus! Some folks complain about the MPG but once you figure out the features and how to use 'em, you can get great mileage. We'll get up around 30 mpg on some trips (even fully loaded). We also tow our equipment trailer for some of our shows and it handles the load, no problem. Everyone's got a very comfortable captain's chair, plenty of space and the huge sky roof gives my passengers a view of mountains and trees in a lot of places. We had some issues with the brakes but Subaru took care of it under warranty, no problem. We won't hesitate to keep this car unless some new model comes around offering features or upgrades that we can't resist. We've owned multiple Subarus and they're just a great car. This one has been everything we've needed for all kinds of travel, including our trips up to many ski resorts. We highly recommend the Ascent (or the Outback for that matter), for safe, reliable and enjoyable transportation year 'round. Even if I had $100K to spend on a car, I'd still buy this. I don't know of anything better that could match all the things this car does.
