I don't care for the gear shift lever on the steering column. and if it's there, reverse should be up and drive down, more similar to column stick shift levers. Additionally, you can't see the lever labels from the sitting position with the steering wheel aligned for forward driving or backing, as the crosspieces of the wheel block the view.
This is my 2nd Touscon, and I'm not liking the panel that contains the seat heaters, steering wheel heater, etc. The lights that show the item is on and the level, etc., are so faint that they cannot be seen from the driver's correct position, but require looking away from the road to get close enough to the selections to see if they are on, if they are on high, low, or what. The reason for switching sides of the steering wheel for phone and cruise is beyond me. Why the switch?
