SantaFe 2021
I am not usually doing this but this time I must.

Today my SantaFe 2021 was there 7th time for the same issue that I have last 3 months - AC not working.

At the beginning I explained them a situation and they told me that everything working properly, and that they don't realize the issue and that I need to come back when again happend.

Next time when it happened they told me that fan and transistor are not working and that they will replace it but I need to wait for parts.

I got a call that parts arrived and car was there, repaired. The same issue happened after couple of days and I took my car again there, when they informing me that fan need to be replaced even they told me that they will do it preiovus time - we scheduled again and they told me that is fixed.

I drove a car for 2 weeks and same issue happened - they told me that we need to change blower and cabin filter and thar cabin filter is not covered by warranty - I accepted.

New call, car ready - I drove it for couple of days when same issue happend. New appointment, new beggining...

I recieved again a call from the service representative who informed me thar car is ready and issue were wires and connectors but couple hours after AC not working again.

My advice for everyone is to aviod this service since looks like they don't have idea what they are doing. At least, I expected from the dealership to have people that are able to fix Hyundai vehicles but looks like this guys are not educated to do that.

I contacted Hyundai Motors America and I hope that they will help me to resolve this situation.

Misdiagnosed Engine Trouble
I have been a loyal customer of Koeppel Hyundai for many years. We recently encountered engine problems and bought the car in for service. During the first visit in which they had the car for 4 days, they misdiagnosed the problem stating that a spark plug was bad. They advised me to replace all the spark plugs, which I did. I picked up the car and parked it in my garage. Two days later, the same issue occurred. After calling and calling the dealership I was finally given a new appointment and provided with a loaner car for which i needed to put down a $500 deposit (which has still not been refunded). They had my car for an additional 6 days and provided a diagnoses of a faulty fuel injector which they say they fixed. We picked up the car, put it in our garage and 2 days later drove it for no more than 5 miles when the check engine light came back on and the car started exhibiting the same issues all over again. NO ONE in service has picked up a phone for 2 days. NO ONE has returned my voicemail messages. NO ONE has returned my text messages. My husband brought the car back and spoke to the manager, Christene Kemmet, who basically told my husband it wasn't her problem. We are now stuck with a broken down car and no reliable repair service. The new personnel in Koeppel Hyundai are the worst. I have never experienced such ineptitude in all my years of dealing with this particular dealership. They don't know what they are doing. Their only retort is "the computer diagnosed the alleged problem" and it is now out of their hands. How can they possibly consider themselves "pro-customer"?? I'm disgusted.

You dont want to get a car from a dealership who dont give a s**t after they sell you the car. Just go to any other dealership you’ll be satisfied wherever than this place

Nightmare Experience at Koeppel Hyundai: Unprofessional Conduct and Allegations of Racism
Recently went with a friend and the experience at Koeppel Hyundai was nothing short of a nightmare. We had the misfortune of dealing with the financial manager, Jonathan Steinger, who handled the entire situation in an unprofessional manner. The ordeal began when I discovered that the VIN on the contract was incorrect, leading to a cascade of issues. Despite our attempts to rectify the mistake, Mr. Steinger provided false promises and ultimately dismissed me from his office.
We are appalled that someone like Mr. Steinger holds a position at Koeppel Hyundai, considering his lack of professionalism and disregard for customer concerns. Not only did his actions result in financial losses for me, but we also missed out on potential opportunities due to the contract error. This whole experience has left my friend with serious anxiety and a sense of distrust towards the dealership.
What is even more troubling are the suspicions of racism that emerged during this process. The way Mr. Steinger treated me and my friend and how he handled our case raises serious concerns. Additionally, there are doubts surrounding the authenticity of the bill of sale, which only deepens the suspicion of unethical practices within the dealership.
In conclusion, our experience at Koeppel Hyundai was a nightmare characterized by unprofessional conduct, false promises, and allegations of racism. We urge prospective buyers to exercise caution when dealing with this dealership and to seek out establishments that prioritize customer satisfaction, professionalism, and transparency. Trust me, steer clear of this place

I have been going to Hyundai since I purchased a 2013 Equus. Everyone was very professional and spend time to listen to your service needs. Now it's called Koeppel Hyundai and the service is very good and I would rate my service advisor, Christian Ungurean and Kevin from the Body shop excellent to work with.

Wouldn’t You Rather Have a Hyundai?
Koeppel Hyundai was under renovations when I brought my car in for service. Go figure, but I actually found the sign in process and service faster in the temporary location. I liked having the Service Department exposed. The service seemed quicker and the staff seemed more alert. I only needed minor service an inspection and replacement wipers. I also appreciated actually getting a call when the car was ready from the person who signed me in. In the past, during the height of the pandemic, I had to call them. (Not cool.)

Our apologies for the length of time it took, we are currently under renovations and our service repair shop is 2 blocks from the write up area. Whereas the advisor should have kept you posted and updated. The average wait time is approx 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

Quick and Efficient
After having a terrible experience at Star Hyundai who held my car for over two weeks and wanted to charge 5k for unnecessary repairs, I had my car towed over to Koeppel where my car was quickly prioritized and returned to me three days later at a significant fraction of the cost Star quoted. The entire team was super friendly and sympathetic to my issues. Super happy with my experience here!

Excellent Customer Service
I was able to come into the Service Department as a walk in without an appointment for my oil change and some other concerns. Service staff were friendly and professional. They noted the service that needed to be performed and told me it would take about 2 hours. I spoke to Christine the Service Manager who happened to be walking by. She is a dedicated member of the management team who provides excellent customer service. Christine is very friendly and interacts with the customers. Sure enough I was told my vehicle was ready in the 2 hour window. Hyundai corporate should be proud to have such a caring and dedicated Service Department staff at KOEPPEL Hyundai.
