Great but doesn’t hold up to a raccoon!

Having driven the car for over a month and 5000 miles, it’s a great car. The only setback is the amount of damage hitting a raccoon will do and how much it costs to fix.

After only 2.5 months

Mileage is still very low at 1100. While washing the car I noticed a loose panel on the passenger side behind the rear wheel. A ding for build quality. Far to early to rate reliability don't you think? Gas mileage is a little disappointing so far.

Terrible Blulink support and service. Otherwise, the vehicle is ok so far.

The only thing I am disappointed with is the absolute awful Blulink support and service. They know absolutely nothing about their own product or how to address an issue I have had for months.

Excellent Car

Here are three things I don't like about the Sonata: The brand emblems are too large. If they insist on keeping them the same size (so you can tell it's a Hyundai from a mile away), they should paint them the same color as the car. This makes it look much more elegant (like Hugo Boss does). More discreet, more refined. Both on the front and the rear of the car. In a car of the Sonata's caliber, the seats should come standard with leather or a similar material. The one I have has cloth seats that get hot and uncomfortable. The sunroof is key. It should also come standard. Those are my suggestions.

While a Good Car, it's Missing Some Basics and can be Distracting

The Bad : It's missing minor features like somewhere to put your change, dividers inside the center console (it's effectively a big pit), and somewhere to put your sunglasses/garage door opener The Annoying: "The please take a coffee break alert fires FAR too frequently and can't be dismissed. The automatically applying brake for cars passing behind you is INSANELY annoying as if applies the brakes unexpectedly The Good: Good fuel mileage, good performance (in Sport Mode), Nice styling, and the AC works exceptionally well! Note: I bought the vehicle new, as such I can't rate reliability yet.

Nothing special

I leave the air conditioner on when I turn off my car. I have the vents set to blowing in the car, but when I get in the next time the air blows at my feet for a while then at some point it switches to where I have it set. I can change the setting upon getting in but I should not have to. This is a brand new car and the air conditioner does not really cool the car. The air should be cooler. Very disappointing in a new car. When I push the bottom on the door handle to unlock my car it unlocks all of the door. This is a true safety hazard. Only the driver door should unlock unless I want to unlock all the doors. I have noticed when the car has been seating in the heat the transmission wants to slip. WOW!
