I bought my Hyundai Sonata 12 years ago it is still running like day one I love the style and all the features of the 2006. When you take into consideration that my car is 12 years old and have had no major problems there only thing is Freon in the air conditioner new tires battery wipers and brakes and oil changes I would say I have made a good investment

Strong reliable family car.

We bought our 2006 Sonata in December, 2005. It has the best engine of all our cars and has been extremely reliable and efficient. Normal service needs and excellent overall performance. It was first my wife's car, then oldest daughter, now second daughter. I hope we can keep it another 2-3 years.

The best car I ever owned.

A very comfortable, efficient, worry-free car. Never experienced any mechanical problems (we do have it serviced regularly) in 12 years --that's a lot of savings. Exterior and interior are in great condition and do not seem to wear. It was really built to last. We never had the slightest regret for purchasing that car. Our next car will be another Sonata.

Couldn't get better for the Money!

My '06 Sonata has been all over the country on dozens of trips. It still handles like it's brand new! No noise, smooth ride and still great gas mileage. (21mpg/30mpg) It has at last check, over 167 thousand miles. I'd love a new one but they don't make a 6 cylinder Sonata anymore! ? So, I will jyst keep my baby!!

Excellent service from the time I arrived to the time I left the shop. Asked me if I wanted something to drink, made me feel like family. They did not rush me with any decisions based on what my vehicle needed.

I love my Sonata. It's the third one I have owned and if I need to I'll buy another one. It is reliable and even though it's now 12 years old it still looks good. There have been very few issues with the car other than standard things like Brakes and Tires. The service department is excellent and always works to make sure I am satisfied.

My Sonata

I love my Hyundai Sonata. It has everything I want and everything I need. Although the mileage is over 175,000, it still out performs any other car I ever had. If anything goes wrong, it seems to always be an easy fix. The dealer service area is amazing. Fast, excellent service!

My choice pans out to be exactly what I needed.

To me, 2006 was the defining point when Hyundai first got the sexy lines to go with their ability to offer all the bonus features within the vehicle, as well. Smooth ride; elegant looks; durable drive train; overwhelming warranty; it was all there. We got a 3.3 liter V6; 17 inch wheels; heated seats, heated side mirrors, sunroof, leather interior, 6 CD player, and the list goes on. Going on 12 years now, and this baby still delivers quality and quantity to us. With five vehicles, the Sonata is my go-to-for-the-win car. My two sons have Hyundai vehicles, as well. Yes, I know that the style and looks keep improving each year since 2006....but we're spoiled. This 2006 Sonata keeps loving us back! It's a keeper!

Great Economical Car

Great value for the dollar. Handles well in all types of weather. The 3.3L V6 engine has a prompt powerful response. MPG is great. Spacious interior does not make any passenger feel cramped. Trunk size is adequate for suitcases and incidentals and if more room is needed the rear seat backs fold down for larger items. I had problems with the individual door locks not working at times and those problems were corrected under the bumper to bumper warranty. I buy my cars, maintain them properly and keep them until they die.

Classic 2006 Sonata

My daughter drives a 2015 Sonata that I originally purchased in 2015 for myself. She loves it so I decided to let her keep it. And I keep a 2006 Sonata LX that I purchased new as my spare during my frequent trips to Florida. It has almost 230,000 miles and drives still like a new car. Really! It's in showroom condition and no one believes it has that many miles and drives the way it does. I live and work in St. Croix and just this week purchased a low mileage 2014 Sonata as my island car. Needless to say, I believe in Hyundai quality and dependability.

My second Hyundai... AWESOME!!!

I bought this Sonata used and you often don't know what you are truly getting into. It has been nothing but a delight!!! Very few quarks to the car.. It had 50,000 miles when we bought it. It now had 140,000 miles and is still going strong. Only regular maintenance has been done to it since we've gotten it and it runs great!!! Going to do some nominal work to the car and should be ready for the next 150,000 miles.

Love my Sonata

I absolutely love my car, the engine has power and I love the size, I wish the new Sonatas were an updated model of this year. I have kept up on all the maintenance and only had minor problems, not looking forward to changing cars unless something this good comes about.

Best Bang for the Money

I have driven Ford, Chevrolet, Dodge, Nissan and several other brands. They all have pluses and minuses but my Hyundai Sonata by far has been the best vehicle. It has over 165000 miles and still rides like its brand new. I am from the age of the old "muscle cars" and this little 6 cylinder can hold its own. It doesn't feel light when doing 100 mph [ :-)] and that would have been only a couple of months ago. The seats are comfortable and ther is plenty of room in the back seat and trunk. Yes, I don't know about the newer ones but if they are anything like my Sonata they would be a GOOD BUY!!

Keeps on ticking

We bought this 2006 Sonata new, and it still runs like a charm eleven years later. You have to pamper a car, and the folks at KM have helped us. In the long run, we've saved a lot of money.
