I have been super satisfied with my Santa Fe Calligraphy. I share with anyone who will listen about the superior tech offered in this car. My experience using South Charlotte Hyundai as my service provider has been stellar. I drove four Lexus 350's prior to my Santa Fe so I feel you have pretty big shoes to fill.

Loved Hyundai’s since 1989

I only buy Hyundai’s. The value for the quality of the car is exceptional. Although the new 2024 Santa Fe has some issues, it’s still the best value. All new designs have some small issues. Would still buy another Hyundai.

2024 SANTA FE

The 2024 Santa Fe should have air vents in the back since there are three rows. That shouldn't have been an upgraded feature. The charging pads should have been included as well. There is a problem with air pressure in the tires. I bring the it in for the routine maintenance but I always have issues with tire pressure. The side is smooth, the comfort is ok just not enough air circulation for the size of the vehicle. I should've had better features for the amount I paid.

Its great except

The 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe makes a strong impression overall, especially in terms of design and interior quality. Starting inside the cabin, the interior is excellent. The materials feel well thought out, the layout is functional, and everything is where you expect it to be. There are no real complaints here—Hyundai clearly put a lot of effort into making the interior both comfortable and modern. Under the hood, the engine performance is impressive. Once you’re moving, the vehicle pulls strongly and feels confident at highway speeds. That said, the turbo lag is noticeable, particularly from a stop or during quick throttle inputs. While it doesn’t ruin the driving experience, it’s something you’re definitely aware of, especially in everyday driving. The dual‑clutch transmission is a mixed bag. On the freeway, it performs smoothly and shifts cleanly, making long drives comfortable and refined. In city driving or stop‑and‑go traffic, however, it’s not my favorite. The behavior at low speeds can feel less natural than a traditional automatic, which takes away slightly from the otherwise solid driving experience. From the outside, the Santa Fe really stands out. The exterior design is excellent and bold, giving the vehicle a distinctive presence on the road. One design element I could do without is the automatic grille shutters. While they may serve a functional purpose, they’re not particularly appealing and detract a bit from an otherwise great-looking front end. Overall, the 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe delivers strong interior quality, eye‑catching design, and excellent engine performance, with a few quirks that may come down to personal preference—particularly the turbo response and dual‑clutch transmission in city driving.

would have hoped the quality was going to be as good as my Teluride.

New fuel Injectors. Transmission cause car to jerk when i first start it sometimes, like still in gear. Driver side door rubber seal is about wore out in one spot. When windy out driving over 70 MPH. lots of wind noise in top corner of drivers door. Don't like you have to have ignition on for garage door opener to operate. The screen that shows up when you have the radio stations shown to the left of that is a very dark navigation screen that you can't see anything on it and is totally use less. The black spoke wheels that comes on the car are absolutely horrible to clean. Had to make a special brush to clean them. Nice looking when clean but when they get dirty plan on an hour just to clean them. Hate the coffee break warning. Scared the hell out of me the first time it came on. Need to be able to turn that off. Like most people HATE the auto stop. Which the seat belt latch was a little taller. When I start it the blower fan goes to high automatically WHY doesn't it stay at the last setting? I REALLY HOPE SOMEONE READS THIS BUT I AM NOT HOLDING MY BREATH.

Broken from Purchase

One of the worst built vehicles I have ever owned. Transmission problems 100 miles in from brand new. Had to be completely replaced at 6000 miles. Lucky enough to have made the Lemon Law cutoff in time for my state. Even that was a slow and mistake riddled process by Hyundai. DO NOT BUY!!

Ok, but I won’t be renewing my lease for this car

The laggy transmission at low speeds has been really frustrating in the overall performance of the car. For an SUV, this seems to be more about aesthetics and flashy internal features than performance/rugged capabilities.

Love everything about the car. Couple of would be nice, auto headlights should remain on and not have to be turned on each cycle, same for drive mode, set it and forget it.
