My Former Hyundai

I no longer own this Santa Fe as I traded it in on a 2026 Santa Fe Calligraphy. However, I really loved the 2023 model, particularly the body style (I had a 2020 Limited too).

Don’t get in an accident!!!

Car was totaled in an accident because the passenger side airbag deployed while no one was sitting there.

Overall the car is very good. The one negative I have is the automatic transmission has occasionally gotten stuck between gears especially in an acceleration state on inclines and continues to accelerate even when breaking. I have taken this into to the service departments and unfortunately they have been unable to duplicate the issue. In addition, the indicator light for an issue does not recognize the issue either. It is not a frequent occurrence but when it does occur, it creates a significant safety issue.

I researched lots of SUVs and the Santa Fe was true to the research. Good size,MPG, technology. My dealership was also a factor as well as the warranty. Price was competitive with similar SUVs. Overall I’m very satisfied with the results of my purchase.

Like the dashboard information. The driver assist ( lane change, warning lights, etc are great). Comfortable ride, good gas mileage. Ride is not as quiet as I would like. The luggage rack is noisy.
