Best Car I Ever Owned

This is the only car I've ever owned that did not result is buyer's remorse. It's bigger inside that other SUVs in the same class, comfortable, easy to drive, has great visibility, extra controls via the automatic transmission, and after more than 170,000 miles, has needed no extraordinary repairs considering it's a 16 year-old car. Still uses no oil or other fluids between changes.

The best and most reliable vehicle!

I purchased my 2008 Hyundai, Santa Fe new and, have been very satisfied with the continuous performance and low maintenance. It is a great vehicle and if I could afford it, I would trade it in on a new 2024, Hyundai Santa Fe.

No buyer's remorse -- ever

This is the only car I've owned that has never caused me buyer's remorse. It's reliable, comfortable, and economical to maintain. After 15 years and over 160,000 miles, it still has the original exhaust system!

I bought this vehicle used about eight years ago. Have a little over 119,000 miles and just had to have a tune up done. This is the first work I’ve needed to have done other than replacing tires and regular oil changes.

My trusty workhorse

I love this car. I bought it new in 2008 and it has now done over 175000 in 14 years with only one major breakdown (fuel pump issue in 2015). It's a bit dinged up on the outside now but has an amazing engine with reliable power and speed. It has climbed mountains, been on many camping trips, crossed many states, carried many things, protected many children.

Great Car

Always wanted a SUV, bought BB (BIG BLESSING). Bought from local used care dealership in 2012. Taken several trips & loved it. Good gas mileage and is roomy inside. I've truly enjoyed this vehicle and would buy again. No regrets.

I purchased my Hyundai in 2008 when it was new.

I love my Santa Fe. I have never had any trouble or any major repairs on it. Just now starting to need some maintenance work. I have kept up with the oil change schedule. Has almost 200,000 miles. I will be getting a new one in about a year.

We bought the Limited edition as we liked the extras that came with it. Not disappointed. The navigation system built into the radio does not automatically upgrade so you have to buy newer disks. We use our phone navigation so that feature is less important now. After 12 years little things like light bulbs started going south but easily fixable

Horrible

This year, make and model is garbage. I know 2 others who have the same car and have the same issue I do. The only reason I can't ditch this car is because I don't have enough to get a different vehicle. Would not, ever, recommend this vehicle to anyone!

Love it!

This car rides up high enough it has a great panoramic view and is easy for a tall man to get in and out of. It’s smooth riding and fuel efficient for every day driving and the extra cargo space is a big bonus!

Good vehicle over all.

Vehicle is good over all, six cylinder engine performs well. Extended warranty came in handy. Ride and comfort is good (short distance and extended trips). Average for noise. Maneuvers well in traffic.

I love my Hyundai Santa Fe. Eventhough, it is a 2008 model; this is the best performing vehicle I have ever owned. I love the features on my vehicle. It has everything I need - power windows, dual temperature controls, excellent sound system, and heated leather seats which in cold weather are wonderful.

I purchased my Santa Fe almost 11 years ago and have enjoyed all of those years with no problems at all. It also handles great on snow days. It is very comfortable to take road trips in this car and not worry about car trouble.

99,000 miles and as good as day one

My wife bought this new in 2008 and it has had no problems and continues to be a smooth and comfortable ride. We had Thule kayak racks mounted and traveled with them until we sold the kayaks, it is a great car and I will buy another Hyundia when I replace the Santa Fe.

so this car has issues. Reoccurring issues. I have 3 other people I know with the same year, make and model and all of us have the same issues. The gas sensor doesn't work and for an 08 to dump 1k worth to fix it is not really good. My model is a limited edition. I have dual a.c, only one side works and that is pathetic! And no, no Bluetooth. Seems super strange to not have Bluetooth in an 08 but I seen cars newer thag don't have it so, oh well. The things I do love is the size I find to be perfect. Trunk is great size back seat leg room is great and you dont feel cramped. I do love it being all wheel drive so I feel super safer now in the winter time.

I'd buy again

I purchased the Santa Fe after exhaustive research. The vehicle has suited me well for 12 years. My main concerns were a quiet and comfortable interior, a tonnage that would survive an accident with trucks, farm equipment, etc., and overall reliability that would not burden me with many costly repairs. I have maintained the vehicle well and have had very few problems over the years. I will consider Hyundai again when the time comes to shop for a new car.

Love my car!

I love my 2008 Santa Fe! It’s just the right size, extremely comfortable, quiet ride, and very dependable. I haven’t had any major issues with it since I purchased it in 2008! In fact my battery lasted 10 years & factory tires about 70,000 miles!?
