2013 versus 2026 Sante Fe

My first Sante Fe was the 2013 Model Year. It is still in my family having been shared with both of my sons. My purchase of the 2026 Sante Fe Hybrid was a bit of a spur of the moment decision, but one I am pleased to have made! The level of technology changes in 13 years is just amazing, especially the Hybrid power train. So far I am reaching 36 to 38 MPG which is outstanding in my opinion. The Calligraphy trim level is very plush for this type of vehicle. We did a 400-mile trip with 4 adults and those riding in the second row seats stated it rode extremely comfortable and was very roomy. Having purchased the 10-year extended warranty package, I expect to keep this vehicle for at least 10 years!

Overall nice vehicle

Overall I enjoy the Santa Fe, but there is a concern for the seat custom settings changing while car is operating. Husband driving and the seat moved to my setting. In addition the chairs folding not detecting a kid in the seat and it started to fold when my son was in seat.

Fancy and Stylish

The Santa Fe hybrid is super sleek, stylish, anf has great features. The drive is smooth and the all-around cameras are *chef's kiss*. The hybrid gets great gas mileage for a vehicle this size and I get compliments all the time on the interior and exterior design features. My *only* complaint is that the seats are very flat and firm, and on long road trips that can be very fatiguing on the lower back. But I overall love this vehicle, and I got a memory foam seat cushion for long trips.

Good roomie

Good , comfortable, smooth, quiet ride plenty of power lots and lots of creature functions no complaints. I traded in my Santa Cruz for the Santa Fe cause I needed more room and I’m very pleased. I highly recommend this vehicle great fuel mileage.

Great vehicle; Reasonable price

We’ve had it three months and got the SEL level. It has lots of features that are important to us, while the higher trim levels had bells and whistles we didn’t need or want. MPG has been outstanding. Just got 35.97 MPG on more than 500 miles of almost entirely urban driving.

I own a brand-new 2026 model vehicle; however, it suffers from significant issues—specifically, a vibration in the front end. This is not a wheel-related issue, but rather something more serious. The vibration is perceptible when driving on the gasoline engine at speeds between 35 and 55 miles per hour; I must emphasize that this vibration occurs *only* when the vehicle is running on the gasoline engine. The service center is either unable or unwilling to resolve this problem; perhaps they simply do not know the root cause because they are only investigating the issue superficially. Furthermore, the trunk lid has a poor paint finish—either it left the factory that way, or it was repainted prior to the vehicle being sold to me. When the service center attempted to repaint it, the result was even worse than the original finish. I am extremely dissatisfied with the Hyundai brand and would not recommend it to anyone.

We really love the vehicle. My only "complaint" is the loud sound the trunk makes when releasing to open. We wish the doors would lock automatically upon exiting the vehicle and walking away instead of having to use the door handle or the key fob. Also, wish there was a place to store sunglasses.
