Love the ride, but gas milage on the sticker is incredibly misleading

We love the vehicle. The ride is excellent and we love the safety features and infotainment system. Our problem is the sticker says with the hybrid we should get 33 mpg, we only get 24. That is highway and in town, we never get close to the advertised MPG. No approach to driving gets the gas milage we hoped for with a hybrid.

Sterling McCall Hyundai in Houston is a very unprofessional dealership

We had MANY issues with the dealership. We have asked NUMEROUS times for the Regional Managers contact info, and they refuse to give it. I would never recommend Sterling McCall Hyundai in Houston!!!!!

Traded up but was worth it.

I owned a Tuscan a year old and loved it but kept hearing a grinding noise when I turned. It turns out the all wheel drive button is on the console and my dogs who travel with me everywhere kept hitting it turning it on and I was driving with it on. Even though the car was under warranty they said it was my fault so it was going to cost me $6,000 to fix so instead I took a $10,000 hit and traded up to a Santa Fe. I totally love my Santa Fe and it is so comfortable and versitile.

Just some add ons for next year’s model

Heated and ventilated seats for the 2nd and 3rd row would be great. Also climate controls for the middle row would help Option for bench seats at calligraphy level would have been nice. Great on gas. Just wish USA had a plug in hybrid version

Customer service

I purchased my 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe because of Hyundai’s strong reputation for reliability and customer service, but my experience has been far from positive. The vehicle itself has had multiple problems since I bought it, requiring numerous trips to the service department. Each time, the service has been subpar, with long wait times and unresolved issues. To make matters worse, when my SUV was in for repairs, I was given a loaner vehicle that was far below the standard of my Santa Fe. Instead of receiving a comparable SUV, I was given one of the smallest cars they had, which is simply unacceptable. For a 2025 model vehicle, I expected to be provided with a loaner of equal or greater value—not something that’s drastically inferior. This entire experience has been frustrating and disappointing. I chose Hyundai based on its reputation, but the poor service and lack of care for customer satisfaction have seriously made me rethink my decision.
