Never buying a hybrid from Hyundai again

It was in the shop multiple times for battery running out while driving. Everytime service said it was something else. Last time was in more then 5 weeks either only 30k miles and I traded it back in

Better than expected

Wanted this model year due to change coming. Style and size were exactly what I wanted. Still working on taking advantage of all the modern stuff. Was disappointed that the phone wasn’t able to connect to car as I thought. Purchased new phone with expectations that it would work. Ride and mileage are better then I expected. Only real complaint is when starting out from electric to gas, seems to be a hesitation that causes you to think vehicle has stalled. On the whole, I am very satisfied with this vehicle and happy I purchased it

This hybrid rocks!

After owning my 2023 Santa Fe Hybrid EV for just 2 months I decided to take a 3 day 1700 mile road trip. I was totally impressed with the range of 600 miles on a single tank of gas. I was even more impressed with the car's handling and comfort. The Apple Carplay app worked beautifully and kept me on course and notified me of traffic conditions on the road ahead. The adaptive cruise control and lane keeping assist helped me drive confidently. Best car buying decision I have made in my 45 years of driving!

Great Experience

I bought my 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid in April of 2024. I am very happy with everything except there is no spare tire and to buy aftermarket it will be $1300, the gas mileage never reaches 33mpg like the adds say. I like everything else.

I am completely satisfied with the vehicle.

I am very happy with the vehicle. It replaced the 2013 Hyundai which I had bought new. Do not tell me that I am required to write a minimum number of characters. You cannot require me to do anything.

Good value for your Money

Excellent value. Excellent dealership service. I owned many cars and have had to deal with dealerships that wouldn’t stand by their vehicles. I have never had this experience w Hyundai. In fact even if on a trip I pulled into a dealership and they serviced my vehicle that encountered problems on warranty. No questions asked.

Best vehicle I’ve ever owned!

This hybrid (not a plug in) gets excellent gas mileage and I can drive 600 miles with each fill up! It’s the quietest and best vehicle that I have ever owned! Great dealership and I love that service is only required every 8,000 miles!

2023 Santa Fe Hybrid

An easy and enjoyable vehicle to drive but feels a bit fragile. Not a sturdy, robust SUV but handles well around town. Good acceleration with the added electric power but motor seems strained at times. Would prefer fewer electronic and audio system gadgets and have a more direct driver's feel of the road . Dealer support and training also a concern, hopefully that comes with more sales and experience in the future.

This my third (3rd) Santa fe, and have all been a pleasure to own!

I've owned 4 hyundai's and a Kia in the last 15 years. I've never felt I couldn't go anywhere at anytime with these vehicles. I can go to a local store or travel across the country. I have watched Hyundai grow from the early days of being the first to offer a vehicle with a warranty no one else had. They proved themselves that way, and then started building cars that were smart looking and stylish. A lot of things hyundai is building in their vehicles, many manufacturers haven't even tried. I knew from my prior ownership, that moving violation one of hyundai's hybrid would be the right thing to do. A few small changes will make this line of vehicles, the best on the market!

Excellent auto

Best I've driven. Surpasses Lexus, Mercedes, Cadillac, Mazda, Toyota and Kia. Excellent safety features, easy to use, especially for older adults. Service Department has been quite company communicative.

Good value

All around good vehicle. Around 3O mpg. Comfortable inside with Limited Trim. Electronic controls and screens easy to use. Plenty of rear space for luggage and golf clubs. Ride a little stiff. Front end styling not my cup of tea. Very reliable vehicle.

Great car; questionable reliability.

The Santa Fe Hybrid is a smooth riding, quiet car with great gas mileage and acceleration. Very comfortable and quiet with great handling. All was good until the transmission began to fail at 16000 miles. That's right, 16,000 miles. Sadly the reliability of the car is now very questionable.

A very positive ownership experience

I was very pleasantly surprised how much I like the car. We needed a larger vehicle for the family use (and two large dogs that travel with us) as well as leg room for slightly senior friends to get in and out of in the back seat. Reliability and mileage were 2 big issues as well as a local dealership. It proved perfect on all counts. I also missed a larger vehicle and being up a bit higher than my old Subaru. The safety components are outstanding.

Hyundai SEL Premium Hybrid

This is my first Hyundai purchase and I'm very impressed. The car is very well made, tight and has a ton of great safety and convenience features. It has plenty of power for what I need (I don't "race around", and I get really good gas mileage. I would recommend this car to anyone, and would not hesitate to purchase one again.

Superior comfort, style, ride and fuel efficiency.

My Santa Fe Hybrid checks all the blocks of luxurious style, comfortable drive and excellent fuel economy. This is a joy to drive on short in town trips and cross country vacations. The interior styling is sleek and I love how the dash is designed to very easily adjust multiple interior controls with minimal driving distractions.

Great Step down from large SUV

This downsize from a large SUV was teh BEST PURCHASE EVER! Plenty of room & GREAT gas mileage. It's perfect for zipping around town and very cozy on long trips! We purhcased 2 Hyundai's and have no regrets!

Take this as your warning

I've owned the car less than 50 days and it has already been back at the dealer for a week with a check engine light and HEV warning light. Lurching/surging engine, revving issues, acceleration difficulties and non responsive transmission. Unsafe vehicle as suddenly refused to accelerate on the highway. Hyundai Service department can't figure it out. Never again.
