Extremely Disappointed in this Vehicle

This car was purchased brand new November 18, 2025. It was in the service department three times with the first four weeks of purchase. It then was in the service department from December 29, 2025 through February 27, 2026. The car was recalled for numerous electrical problems . It was deemed a “lemon” and was purchased back by Hyundai. Our dealership was great, our service department was great, Hyundai corporate was impossible to deal with. Made it a horrible experience. Now there is a no sale on this vehicle .

2026 Hyundai Palisade Caligraphy

Love the car. It rides very smooth and quiet. Love the design and the interior is absolutely beautiful. I have only one complaint. I can’t see the panel lights during the daytime. For example the blue lights for the seat ac and the red lights for the seat heater and the steering wheel heater and the stop start off light.

My second Hyundai Palisade and they keep getting better.

The Palisades keep getting better! My first Palisade was a 2020 Black Limited which I picked up in October 2019. It was one of the first ones in the area. It had some new car growing pains and were quickly resolved. I wasn’t looking for a new car but when I saw the 2026 Calligraphy, I was sold. It is really a wonderful car to drive. It has every imaginable options which make long trips great.

Excellent SUV

This is by far the best SUV style vehicle I have owed in the past 30 years. I have bought Hyundai SUV's back to back because they are good vehicles. Very low maintenance and seem to be getting better year after year. I would recommend these vehicles to anyone!

Pleasantly surprised

I bought the XRT PRO for the offroad functionality and ground clearance that is missing from all versions of the new Kia Telluride, except the high dollar xpro prestige, which i was not willing to pay for. And, the achilles heel of the Telluride is that turbo 4-cylinder. I don't like the styling of the Palisade in general, but the XRT PRO solves most of those. Having driven the XRT PRO for a little over a month now, I am pleased with the comfort and amenities inside the cabin and the power under the hood and the exterior appearance. I honestly didn't think I would be, having driven Tellurides for the past 7 years. I'm pleasantly surprised.

Unimpressed.

Not happy I had an engine misfire requiring a lengthy tow in the first 3000 miles of ownership. Now to receive notice of seats that malfunction and can crush humans and pets is the icing on the cake. Seriously?!?

Vehicle had scratched windshield and paint chip when I bought it. They fixed the windshield by painting it with some sort of clear coating. I hope it lasts

I love my new Hyundai...although Beverly disappointed in the fact that both second and third row seats are virtually unstable due to malfunction .. having caused a child's death and no fix in the works at this time. Was sent an explanation and a warning but without any suggested recourse.

Huge Disappointment in my 2026 Palisade Calligraphy purchase.

I've had the Palisade less than 90 days and it's still in the dealer service center for the 8th day consecutive day. There have been 5 recalls so far including the back seat "Stop Palisade Sales" recall for crushing a child. There is a still undetermined booming sound that comes during speeds of 24-50mph. I will be looking to unwind the lease with Hyundai later this week. Thanks for sending the review link.

It’s a super vehicle

One issue that is not convenient is the controls for the second and third row seats. You have control to put seats down in trunk and then one gad to crawl in back seats to put them back up. My previous palisade had all controls in trunk. Should have left it as was. That may the problem for the current recall of seats???

Too many service appointments

Had 5 service appointments for air flap recall, now seat recall. My 2023 Palisade I had no service calls, except normal services.

The electric seats are the only flaw

Excellent on all aspects except the electric seats. The driver seat doesn’t slide back like it is supposed to when exiting or entering the car. I have told customer care (4 different people, 2 supervisors), and had it in the shop for 3 days. Nobody has said they are even working on it. A major flaw. The buttons in the rear to fold and or move other seats are wrong. They do different things than are supposed to do when the buttons are pushed. Other than those issues it is an outstanding car. It is my second Pallisade.

Not quite there but close.

There are some issues, but overall great vehicle. Adaptive Cruise Control, is bad. Too many options on infotainment. Could have a little more leg room in the front drivers side. Gas mileage is ok, but not great, a bigger gas tank would take care of the problem. Be a smart company and make the automatic engine shut off the opposite if I want my vehicle to turn off I will flip the switch to do that. No one likes to be stopped in traffic and you have to wait an extra second to accelerate.
