Beautiful Concept - terrible performance

We had a 2023 palisade that we loved, and unfortunately it was totaled in an accident in August. When we started searching for its replacement and saw the redesign it was a clear winner. Unfortunately after about 2,000 miles things quickly went south. Check engine lights galore, extremely rough idling, less than promised MPG (we are talking 17 mpg), running out of oil without a light or a warning, bogs down when you push the gas pedal.

Great value

The 2026 Palisade has left me in awe. I'm amazed at the degree of luxury that I was offered at such an affordable price. Though we have ran into a few small bumps, in my opinion that can be expected with the amount of sensors and computers that vehicles are equipped with today. With 6500 miles on it so far, we are very pleased with this vehicle.

Thus far (three months in), vehicle is superb. Did have a couple of dealership "hiccups" though. Very comfortable ride. Numerous beneficial add-on features ("bells and whistles"!) Front and rear dash cameras, Front foot rests for both the driver and passenger, Heated side mirrors, Color "mood" lighting - front and middle row seating, Lumbar adjustable seats, Heated steering wheel, Rear view mirror adjusts to camera-view if desired, plus many other features. Sleek exterior look. "Hidden" (from view) towing-package, when needed.

I was hesitant to purchase a Hyundai but did so at my wife's request for the many features available in the PALCAL. While I do enjoy the spacious layout, comfortable seats, and array of technology features, I am not very satisfied with the car and do not look forward to driving it for the following reasons: Acceleration is very sluggish, you have to apply a great amount of pressure to accelerate fast than a snail's pace, then the engine rev's loudly and lunges forward. It drive's like my father's 1988 Ford Aerostar that I drove in high school in the late 90's. The tire pressure gauge is full of problems. Loud, intrusive beeps happen sporadically, and coming from Honda, it just doesn't handle well.

scooter w/trailer on the back because of this we lost 3 safety feature

On my old car we didn’t lose our safety features. Wish I had my old Palisade back

Excellent so far!

Love everything about it except for the auto engine shut off when you stop . It would be nice to have it disabled and not have to push the button every time.
