Misses the mark

This vehicle misses the mark of the things that matter. The driver's door button doesn't allow for a two punch to first open the driver's door, then all the doors. The manual says it does. You can try every option under the door setup screen and it just doesn't work. The lift gate is very slow to open. The shifting is much to be desired. The area in the front of the console and under it needs to be redesigned. It's not very usable. It drives smoothly. But, the V6 doesn't give you the power punch you'd expect to get up to speed. A garage door opener and sunglass holder should be standard on every truck. Especially these that are approaching $50k. You can't control the lightning. There are push button lights for the third row. Those should be on a switch to turn then off and on. You can tell where they completely cheaped out on the truck. But you may not recognize it until you raise it doesn't fit your lifestyle or needs.

Very nice SUV, luxury feeling, with some quirks

I really like and enjoy my newer Limited Palisade. It it a quiet ride, the safety features are wonderful. The visibility is a bit challenging without relying on the safety features versus viewing directly. The 360 degree camera view, for oarjpking requires pressing a button that not convenient to the driver. If you have favorite channels selected in Sirius, Favorites has to be selected every time or moving through channels will be numeric. ECO Drive has to be changed every time upon start up if you don鈥檛 want that drive mode.

The Beast

Overall the car is great. It is comfortable, classy looking and drives great. I do have three negatives: power, gas mileage and electronics are too complicated. I have the gas engine and it os very sluggish. I could live with the sluggishness as a trade off for good gas mileage, however, the gas mileage is also bad. I average about 21 mpg. I have also found the electronics are too complicated and the car manual is horrible. The table of contents is terrible and almost impossible to find anytjing.

things that could be improved

1. You made the side view mirrors smaller - limits view - not good. 2. The auto manuals DO NOT fit in the glove compartment. What kind of deal is that? 3. The car came WITHOUT floor mats!!! Come on Hyundai! Kind of a crazy way to save a buck! 4. Voice for radio commands cannot be adjusted. Sounds like a robot. Annoying and very unclassy. 5. You took away the cube for the auto speed and rpm indicators on dash. Boo 6. The charging ports on center console are very poorly designed. First, you have to position your phone UPSIDE DOWN in order to use the charging port with a cord. Otherwise, you cannot stand your phone up on the stand. Second, if you use a second charging port, you are unable to stand your phone upright on the console at all. Nobody in their right mind would design a setup like this. You can do better.

Love my palisade

The only comment I have is automatic locking on my former Honda Pilot but not on my 2026 Hyundai Pilot. Its a simple computer software modification that could be incorporated by Hyundai rather quickly

Best Car Ever!

This is the most comfortable ride and the safety features are fantastic. We feel very safe sitting up higher than our previous vechicles. The 21 inches makes the ride very smooth and comfortable. The view out of the windshield is very commanding. We are extremely happy with this vechicle,

Not sure worth the price

The inside is nice minus the steering wheel- looks extremely cheap and the thick bottom portion is not concussive to driving comfort. I leased this for the inside roominess and upgraded seats, but have found that I do. It really care for the exterior. Feel like I am driving an expectation wagon. Have set the auto door unlock numerous times and still doesn鈥檛 work. Having to use a remote to unlock drivers door in 2026 is simply not acceptable. To make matters worse, a safety recall was issued in the 3rd row of seats within two weeks of my purchase. Having a child makes me feel uneasy given the situation that occurred that initiated the reason for the recall. Tragic. If I could get out of this lease early I certainly would.
