Unsafe to Drive

This vehicle currently has 2 safety recalls on it, one which has no available remedy. I bought the 8 passenger Palisades in order to transport my 8 grandchildren, but the first and second row seat belt assembly has a recall as it may not fully latch. Plus, I currently cannot use the third row due to the ejection mitigation recall. This car is currently unsafe for my grandchildren to ride in it.

Overall happy with look and feel

Interior and exterior look great. Transmission has a bit of a lag feeling, turning radius very short, hard to see bottom of vehicle without using the cameras. I think some of the features are too advanced for me and not easy to figure out. I still can't figure out the cruise control. I am sure with some reading and learning I can figure it out, but it is not easy to "just figure out" on my own. Wish there was more room in the rear of the vehicle storage area. Last wish it came with running boards.

Will never own another one

The car was nice looking, comfortable and had a lot of features that we were looking for and enjoyed. However that was short lived when the first recall came in on the seatbelts. We had already taken ours to a dealer with a problem with it and then got the recall... Okay... so when will you fix it? They finally came up with a fix but we were told that the parts are not available... As soon as they got them in they were gone. Then the icing on the cake... the recall on our third row seat. A safety issue... that could mean a fatality in a rollover accident. Slim chance of having one of those.. but it would mean that we could never use that again and that was one of the things we really wanted for when our family came to visit. We were again told... no fix... probably never will be. What? You sold us a car and then tell us the problem can't be fixed or it will be a long time coming We had already waited a year for the seat belt fix. We immediately sold our Hyundai and now drive a Ford

Love My 2025 Palisade

I love all of the new safety features on my new Palisade. My favorite is the lane changing warning device when I turn on my turn signal and a vehicle is in my blind spot.

I've had a loaner car more than my car, it's always in service

I've had engine problems after engine problems. The car is clearly a lemon, just waiting for Hyundai to decide that because it's a lease and they have yet to take it back. I've almost been in car accidents because the engine has malfunctioned so many times.

Car is fantastic. Only things I miss is CD player, and sunglasses holder in ceiling of car. I did add running boards for ease of getting into the vehicle for my shorter mother.

We like a lot of things about the Palisade except 1) the angle of the windshield causes the dash to be reflected on the windshield when driving into the sun; 2) The auto-stop default is on and I have to manually turn it off every time I restart the car (the dealer told me this could not be reprogrammed); 3) it is more difficult to get into and out of the car than the Honda Pilot we had before; 4) My wife has trouble seeing the right side of the road when driving because the right windshield post is too big. We probably won't buy another Palisade because of these items.
